  1. Woohoo, another year. Happy birthday again man!
  2. Awesome collection Lani!!! Thanks for sharing...
  3. Could it be the angle? Or possibly the perspective?
  4. I'm with you guys. I tend to go for more subdued watches for these types of instances. When I go to important business meetings I tend to do the same as I don't want to polorize any feelings based on the watch I'm wearing. On the other hand, if I'm the one giving the interview or the person making the decision during a business meeting I don't tend to mind or put much thought to.
  5. OMG!!! They found Andre the Giant's lost watch. I do believe they said that he had lost it on one of his tours in Japan...
  6. Agreed. I've handled one at an AD and it certainly is an awesome watch. Having seen other reps produced, I'm sure they could do it if they chose to. With the usual mistakes of course. LOL Either way, I'd be all over it if they did produce one.
  7. Sorry smc. I forgot to answer that didn't I? Well, I have a SW 200 movement in one of my watches and it runs quite well. I wouldn't mind paying $500 for a nice watch with a SW movement in her.
  8. smc do a little search on the internet. Some years ago I was just surfing the web and was able to quite easily find manufacturers in China willing to produce cases/bracelets/etc. for me cheap. Whether it was from a parts catalogue put together to my specs or custom designed and made the prices were surprisingly cheap. I also found that most were willing to produce them in rather small numbers of say 30 to 50 pieces. Now I'm sure there are a multitude of hoops one must jump through to get a quality finished piece, but it might be something that you might want to explore. Best of luck!
  9. Happy Birthday Ubi! Enjoy.
  10. Yep, I just checked on mine and it does have a "flat" type of crown. Definitely not like the "fifty" bullhead (?) type of crown. I guess that's a red flag easily visible from pictures.
  11. If the sale is legit it's a pretty good price for BNIB. tanya, I'm still enjoying the MM20 I bought from you. One of the best purchases I've ever made!
  12. Guys, this is an original "Ken Trading" RXW MM20. Yes, a guy from Japan made his own line of swiss powered "homage" watches in the likes of a Panerai. They are probably some of the best Panerai "like" watches out there with great craftmanship, build quality and lume this side of an original Panerai. I should know because I own one of these MM20's in my personal collection. They are highly sought after because Panerai sued the guy and he had to stop production of these watches. Ken Trading is still around, but they don't produce any of these pieces any longer. They can and usually do fetch prices from $1500 to $2000+ depending on quality. He states that this is a Ken Trading RXW MM20 so no lie there and he seems to have the "full" package as it came from the factory. Do a little research on Ken Trading RXW MM20's and you'll see that there is a big following and a high demand for these watches. Personally, mine is never leaving my collection. I've owned several Panerai's in the past and my RXW is on par with the Panerai's I've owned.
  13. Totally agree. Cheers!
  14. I don't usually get into politics, but let the facts stand where they may. Is that a nail file???!!! LMAO
  15. Looking at it some more. I'm gonna go with Invicta. Arnold is a pretty big dude and from the looks of it that watch has got to be bigger than the 50mm that U-Boat makes. On the other hand, Invicta makes a divers' watch that's something like 55+mm's. That thing looks quite larger than 2 inches in diameter.
  16. When you've run the coffers of the state of California dry, it might be a good idea to wear the "affordable" watch to the office.
  17. It could be an Invicta. I've seen an ad from Invicta that had Arnold wearing their HUGE Russian divers' watch. Either that or a U-Boat...
  18. Hey Lani, Sorry to hear that you're sick brutha. Hope you get well soon! z
  19. IMHO, it's your attitude. I've got friends who have small wrists and are small in stature that pull off 47mm with aplomb. Then I have buddies who are 6'4" 235lbs. that can't even do the same with a 44mm. It's really in the style and attitude of the individual IMO. I also have a few female friends who love to run around at nights with my 45.5mm Omega PO on their wrists and they make it look o so sexy... In the end, I say do what you like.
  20. So it was FUBAR for awhile... Thanks for the explanation guys and glad to hear RG is back online.
  21. I must have missed something. What happened to RG???
  22. Awesome! Congrats on the new pick up MP. I've had my eye on this girl and it's definitely getting more difficult to ignore her. LOL
  23. Nice. I'd love to see this one rep'd.
  24. Wow! Those two are looking wicked. Can't wait to see the finished products.
