In any on-line community you are going to get a variety of personality types and responces. You have to weed through them and gather the golden bits of wisdom. You will grow old trying to change people to fit a particular mold. There are lots of good people in this forum and dealers who provide us all a service we want. I don't see an issue in letting everyone know when we get a great watch or the service was fast and friendly. This is a forum barometer for us to see the health of the transactions over a period of time. If anything goes sour we learn about it. This is a community service. Usil

Tricky - since you never know how they feel about 'Fake' watches. There is no doubt that you have to explain that it is a rep or the first time they take their prize posession for which they have so much love and respect for you for giving it to them to an AD for service - your busted. Wow! He has seen the light with expensive tastes. I would suggest pulling similar watches from the trusted dealer's pages and emailing them to your brother-in-law for review. At least he is now looking at watches and I am sure some of what you can send him will strike him favorably. The discussion alone will start you rolling and the price for reps will allow him to try one out without a great loss. Usil

Sorry to hear your Tag stolen. This just pisses me off when I hear this. Someone there in the gym was eyeing that watch. But, do tell the gym management as they may have insurance. Usil

Tell us about polishing the Titainium. I have often thought that my Breitling Chrono Avenger (early 2006) and my IWC Ing. AMT Titainium would look better if they were polished but I don't think there is any going back once you do this. I have not seen the gens so do not know and the reps look 'grainy' if you look at the pictures members show. I have been hesitant but have done part of a bracelet and it looks smooth and an even grey color - loosing it's graininess appearance. Usil

I would bet that the dealer sales would increase 10 fold if they just postioned the watch - or for that matter - any new rep at around 215 to 250 depending on complications. After that I do not buy. I will wait for member sales and of course, that does not help the dealers at all. Usil

I like the new Chopards especially the white dial but at 320.00 USD plus - this just seems way too much when it just has an Asian 7750. I would think that it should be closer to 250.00 USD. Is this just me who thinks this? Usil
