  1. Wow, that's an enlightened point of view! ps. Yes, Sudan is a backwards [censored]-hole. You'll get no argument from me on that one.
  2. IWC Flieger Chrono with genuine Valjoux wheels:
  3. You think I'm not having fun?
  4. It's from a different factory to the Cousteau ...
  5. I can't find it on http://www.darwinawards.com but she could only win if she took herself and her child out of the gene pool.
  6. I'm fairly sure they're off-the-shelf ETA parts.
  7. That's not a M:tG card (and I should know - I own a few original M:tG paintings ) but it's The Great Red Dragon and the Woman Clothed in Sun by William Blake. http://www.apocalyptic-theories.com/galler...lakedragon.html
  8. In all honesty, I don't remember; It was over a year ago.
  9. Sold! I'll take one.
  10. I admit it's nowhere near genuine, but it's not blue-tinted. I didn't notice the AR until I had it next to Golfman's un-ARed PAM and it was obvious mine had far fewer reflections than his, even though both were sapphire. The AR is more for go than show, unusually.
  11. Well, not entirely. Don't take humour as fact; it's just a joke. ps. I wonder how many people thinking all these tales are true realise that we're laughing at them as much as the people in these stories.
  12. My 111h ($110 version from Silix) has sapphire and light AR that actually reduces reflections. It's not impossible to do for cheap, apparently.
  13. This thread no longer serves a purpose. On to the reviews!
  14. Excellent news! My fears are gone. Great pics, Euno. It looks like I won't be disappointed.
  15. I'm waiting for Euno's review!
  16. I personally am very keen on Tourby's pilot watch. If I had more money, I'd have one. Yes, I am hoping I can afford the 45mm when it comes out.
  17. Tuesday, a different day in the office, a different watch. This morning's choice was a "quick, what watch is easy to grab?" choice as I ran out of the door to await the bus in the cold for ten minutes ...
  18. See, comments like this makes me all proud and stuff. I love seeing people who just bite the bullet and try it. It's not that hard if you have an eye and a bit of patience. Great shots, Rodwc. I agree. Nothing is stopping people from taking above-average shots. This forum is full of great photographers, some of whom don't even know it yet.
  19. You can see the number of second hand movements here: On a non-chrono, those beats are a more evenly spaced 8-per-second.
  20. Well, it's true. After seeing the AR in person, I have two crystals on their way to Jakub's secret laboratory. I can't wait! Oh, and the two watches? Not what you'd expect.
  21. If that's how the maths work, that makes me ... carry the three, minus the common denominator, take away the number you first thought of ... 21 new years old!
  22. Titanium!!!
  23. It's what happens when you use PhotoBooth on a MacBook to take a picture without checking the "Flip Photo" option.
  24. It's 20 posts a page unless, like my esteemed friend TTK, you have the forum set to more posts per page.
  25. I'd go PS3 as well.
