They get paid stupid money because people throw money at the sport. Outrageous salaries are not the players' faults, but the sport's fault, and the fans' fault. If fandom stopped treating it like a religion, the tithes would be lower and players would get more realistic salaries.

Pay? Forums? Sounds like a bit too much effort for me. I like my BitTorrent method because it's no effort. I can go on holiday and come back to all the TV I would have missed otherwise. Kind of like a piracy Tivo.

I run a bittorrent client on my Mac 24/7 and have a regex (script) that automatically queues TV shows I like. Whenever I look at my server, I see new shows downloaded. There's a small risk of someone finding out, of course, but it's a balance of risk vs reward. I have never seen a virus in a video file. If you're just downloading TV shows, you're never going to get a virus.

I use a 5mp non-SLR for my photos. It's never about the camera.

One problem with comparing fuel costs is people seem to forget to put the unit in with the price. Then, when the UK guys see a Gallon, they think it's the same Gallon the world over (it isn't). There are several ways to photograph gold watches, but the best way is by being TTK. Here's one of mine where I steeped it in heavy diffuse light. It's very easy to take them this quality. To get as good as TTK will take a lot longer.

I have to agree. It's the kind of thing you'd refer to when defending our reps in the pub. Such a "we are not worthy" post.

I find that if I need night-time lume, I will wear my SUG Nautilus with Tritium tubes. While it may not glow as bright as my Seiko Monster when you first put the lights out, it will glow brightly enough to see for the next twelve years, non-stop. The Seiko (and the POs of the world) are only supposed to glow long enough for a quick dive into the briny deep.

I prefer fake croc/gator to real.
