  1. There's a rep with a 2894 in it?
  2. For me it depends on what I'm doing more than what I'm wearing. Outdoors? Something waterproof and sporty, like a Sub or Seiko. In front of my keyboard writing? Something not too heavy, possibly my GST or Fortis. Pub? Big and bold, like a Panerai, PO or Breitling. Camping? waterproof and possibly my digital if I'm orienteering. Most of the time, though, I reach for my newest watch or my rotation box.
  3. I've met more than my fair share of porn stars and some of them are very nice people. Don't judge a person by their career.
  4. My pleasure in her crying is precisely because she's a role-model. Do the crime, pay the time. If one less girl drives drunk because of her tears, then it's a victory. Would you laugh at a regular guy thinking he was a star athlete, getting his ass well and truly handed to him on a sports field? Then you can laugh at Paris Hilton trying to deal with reality. She simply should know better. I find it difficult to feel pity for anyone that privileged.
  5. Like golf clubs.
  6. I like the fact the vacuous tart is doing prison time. If I see her crying on the news, it makes me happy.
  7. Maybe he found it in a golf club? Sorry, couldn't resist it. The OP's post was exceedingly ambiguous and I'm still not sure I understand exactly what he's asking.
  8. How much are you willing to pay?
  9. Great choice. Nobody ever bought a cruiser for performance and handling. Oh, and the Yamaha may not have the torque of the Harley, but it'll have the horsepower, and it'll be affordable. ps. V-Star (aka Dragstar) 650 has 40bhp and the bike isn't really built for over 80mph. The 883 Sportster produces 43bhp, so there's not much in it. These bikes are not really made for outright horses.
  10. I'm on a replica mountain forum already.
  11. This particular version is getting rare: I've heard of them selling for higher than list price. I've never had an offer that tempted me, so I've never considered selling it. Oh, and I currently wear it on a leather strap:
  12. It's very good.
  13. Is this any use? Pugwash's Seagull reference page
  14. How about I buy them and ship all but my pair to you to distribute to the US? I can post them for a lot less than $16.
  15. Breitling Aeromarine Chrono Avenger Stainless Steel fantasy version from TWP Recently, I came second in a raffle over on RWI. The Watch Prince (A US-based dealer next-door on RWI) had added two quartz watches as a second prize and these were to be my bounty. However, TWP knows my feelings on quartz reps and offered me store credit in their place, which I decided to put towards a lumpy Breitling chronograph I saw he had on offer. Not knowing much about it (was it a small Super Avenger or a steel Chrono Avenger?), I spoke with my Breitling expert buddies Andreww and By-Tor, who both thought it was a Chrono Avenger fantasy version. This turned out to be the case, and I checked the quality of the replication and saw that it was not bad at all, even if the genuine Chrono Avenger was only available in titanium. This makes it a fantasy replica, which I don't object to when it's a model that should exist, much like the Rolex GMT-LV I've got. How close is the dial? I did this little animation to check. Gen from the Breitling site on the blue background, rep on the red. Not bad at all, apart from it has the regular rep lume and the wrong date font. In the next picture, I've put it next to my Steelfish to show the lack of AR and the size comparison. It's about the same size, but a lot deeper. This is a tall watch. Case back? Looks like a regular caseback to me. Any experts want to weigh in? The bracelet it was delivered on is the old "Professional" style (bottom on the picture below). I don't know if I'll ever wear it on this as I much prefer it on the leather I got with my Steelfish. Here's how it looks on the wrist. Here's your glory shot, available in 1280px wide if you click it.
  16. ...and the important post is this:
  17. Yes. However, I'd check with your dealer first.
  18. Or, and this could be important, you need to either learn to write and express your opinion clearly or stop being upset when you're inevitably misunderstood. Don't get assume it's everyone else's fault that you keep having to try to make yourself understood.
  19. For that, you'd need an old-style Navitimer. The hands on the new ones don't fit a gen 7750 and the slide rule won't match. Good luck finding one. Have you bought the 7750 yet?
  20. A picture of the dial would help ...
