  1. They're mildly average photos, unworked with Photoshop, taken straight off the camera as I couldn't hold my excitement back. The idea I had when I posted my photos was that other people would post a model that's not already had a photo posted of it - preferably unmodded. Maybe I should have said that in the post.
  2. White-dial 1680 and 1665 (White Sub and Great White respectively) Now imagine those with red print on them and that's four of them. If you can't get 25 firm orders this weekend, I'd be shocked. This is the lowest price these have ever been offered here for.
  3. Welcome to the 45mm PO Ultimate club. You're going to wear that beauty to death. The 'my god, it's too heavy' feeling goes away after a few days (or the moment you put a Panerai 187 on). ps. My pearl is odd, too. I wish it looked like this:
  4. Hey there, Epoch. Good to see you here. Anyway, this morning I woke up a little hung over and grabbed the nearest watch I could find: Mods so far: Bezel insert replaced, gen pearl. That's all so far, but we're far from finished here.
  5. Or are just remembering the whole Asian ETA fiasco over the last few weeks, where dealers deliberately mislead people with claims over ETA movements and superlume on one of these so-called 1:1 superwatches.
  6. Great detail shots. They certainly show us what you got.
  7. I tested that theory and found this: Neat video.
  8. Damn, Eddie's special brand of humour will be missed. A victim of the walmartisation of replica cartels?
  9. Something tells me Andrew wouldn't sell me watches in the first place ...
  10. Pugwash

    !

River was selling the white/silver dial for an impossibly low $139 recently. I'm getting my Flieger Chrono (nearly the same as this) AR-coated soon, so I believe it's worth it.
  11. Like I said over on TRC, nothing fills me full of confidence more than handing my credit card details over to a counterfeiter.
  12. We knew this was going to happen, didn't we? I recommend moneybookers for all europe-related japes, but for our American friends, I don't have any solutions as it now seems that Reg and PT cannot openly offer PayPal as an option on any rep items.
  13. I'm Brian and so's my wife. Good luck with this group buy, people. It's the cheapest these watches have ever been available here.
  14. I'm bumping this ...
  15. You were the only one I knew that had been directly accused, and I know you'd already defended yourself on RWI. I'd hoped to nip any further witch hunts in the bud
  16. What was the rather unpopular but dead-on-balls accurate Panerai mentioned in the last "Most accurate" thread we had? I'd suggest that would be the 'best pam rep', in spite of the fact it's not that popular. Sure it is.
  17. I ordered a book (FreeBSD Admin reference manual) in English from Amazon UK, which meant delivery to Paris, France should take a week or two. A month later, I informed Amazon, and they sent a replacement that arrived in a matter of days. A few weeks later, the original order arrived, with a UK postmark on it and loads of US stamps and the like, with USPS notes written on it. From London, via Paris, Texas, and for some reason Denver and Newark, it got here.
  18. The wristcheck that would not die! Ok, today, I decided to put away the vintage Rolexes, the Fiddies and Planet Oceans (the hard-core diver watches) and put on Ol' Faithful, the Ziggified Frankenfied Puggified IWC GST Chrono. Something to remind me 99.5% accurate Frankens can be finished for under $600 with no need to resort to a file, 600-grade sandpaper and a block of jeweller's rouge on a dremel buffer wheel.
  19. I posted yes, a perfect collection is possible because my heart says it is. My brain says it's impossible, but I want to believe.
  20. I can do you one better. One dealer sent me a real make-believe address. I returned my Navitimer to Ruby and after 4-8 weeks (I forget how long) I realised it was never getting there. I verified the address she gave me and she realised she'd made the address up. It was half one address and half another. That watch went off into the void.
  21. Woah. ROT-1!
  22. How to use the search feature: visit http://www.rwg.cc/members/search.html If you use that, you'll see that the recessed pinion is the pin in the middle of the minute hands and it's not long enough, creating a hole. With a longer pinion, the hole disappears. In need of the fix:
  23. That list is huge, I don't think there's anything to be gained by posting the whole thing each time. What about just saying 'add me' or 'remove me' and having someone edit the list? Otherwise it'll become a nightmare, believe me. All it takes is for two people to reply at the same sort of time and you'll have a fork: two lists, with different people as the last entry.
  24. You guys visit the internet. I live here
