Do you mean the flat part (the 4 flats at the movement end of the stem) of the stem is twisted?? if so then it looks like you have the stem of a 27xx series movement in a 2824 with will explain why it is stiff, and it will proberbly need a service

  17. During my training as a watchsmith I have too learn different movements, to strip, assemble and service , I am lucky to have a mentor and teacher who is not advers to asian movements and is also willing to learn a little along the way, last night wa spent a while discussing the difference between the date jumper on the swiss 7750 and A7750, i wont tell you the difference as you are still better off not changing the date backwards or between 2100 and 0400. I will how ever say what is possible, non of thease changes are nessesary unless a problem exists. I have recently started servicing A7750s under instruction and we found it possible and at times nesesary to change the following parts for swiss and other members have been able to change the following parts I will update this post as and when and with consutation with Ziggy and other respectes watchsmiths clutch 2 function part 8080 (had to try to two get one the right lenth) chronograph cam(with a mod as it is slightly taller) Chronograph wheel friction part 8290 Detent for hour hammerpart 8360 tilting pinion, Part 8086 Operating lever, 2 functions, Part 8139 Not changeable Main spring barrel, It may be possible to change the spring its self though, and the barrel its self with serious modding
  18. would not bother me, selita is good enough for Bell & Ross and many others, we will see lots more of these in the future
