    GMT III

One point if the rep makers ever read this, Go and speak to seagull and get them to make the 2893 gmt movement, they managed that with the 2892 so i am sure they can do this, get a propper gmt MOVEMENT MADE UP!, DONT EVEN BOTHER with correct hand stacks for modded 2836, a propper GMT movement PLEASE! You have the case, you have the bezel technology and we know toy can do the rest, just sort the movement!
  2. No what he got is an ETA 2846, these are the movements that were fitted in the swatch autos, it is a slower beat than a 2836/24 and also lacks the exenter adjuster, these poped up in upos a while ago and alot were sent back, yes it is a gen ETA, no it is not better as it has the incorect beat for what he wanted.

How long before the GMT3 comes out and we can all have another paper weight, looks nice though I do like the black date wheel though
  5. I dont think there would be one as that would then be marked as the hour totaliser not the mins, the 7753 only can have the nins there AFAIK.
  6. yep gen is quartz 24hr work, i would like one also, i would even go you the new co-pilot with the dare i say it digital display
  7. I hope they rep a few more of the modern Longines, especialy the legend diver!
  8. A above, you would be just as well to buy the asain eta copy version and do the swap then, you will have the dial feet in the right position and the correct size hands.
  9. Well the cown in the crystal can bee seen from the moon and these guys will list a lot of other thing but if you are happy with the watch dont be down hearted, members here can be perfetionists and spent a lot of time and money making perfect replicas or as close as is humanly possible, some times i think more than humanly possible!
  10. Update out of 4 watches timed 2 days ago all with brand new seagull ST 3600 3 are running with in 1 second of each other and one is about 4 seconds out so i will have to revisit this one but it looks like this tool once you get used to it is a usefull addition.
  11. On a Sears hairdryer: ....Do not use while sleeping. (darn, and that's the only time I have to work on my hair.) On a bag of Fritos: ....You could be a winner! No purchase necessary. Details inside. (the shoplifter special?) On a bar of Dial soap: "Directions: Use like regular soap." (and that would be how???....) On some Swanson frozen dinners: "Serving suggestion: Defrost." (but, it's "just" a suggestion.) Tesco's Tiramisu dessert (printed on bottom): "Do not turn upside down." (well...duh, a bit late, huh?) On Marks & Spencer Bread Pudding: "Product will be hot after heating." (...and you thought????...) On packaging for a Rowenta iron: "Do not iron clothes on body." (but wouldn't this save me more time?) On Boot's Children Cough Medicine: "Do not drive a car or operate machinery after taking this medication." (We could do a lot to reduce the rate of construction accidents if we could just get those 5-year-olds with head-colds off those forklifts.) On Nytol Sleep Aid: "Warning: May cause drowsiness." (and...I'm taking this because???....) On most brands of Christmas lights: "For indoor or outdoor use only." (as opposed to...what?) On a Japanese food processor: Found these on a german gen forum, "Not to be used for the other use." (Now, somebody out there, help me on this. I'm a bit curious.) On Sainsbury's peanuts: "Warning: contains nuts." (talk about a news flash) On an American Airlines packet of nuts: "Instructions: open packet, eat nuts." (Step 3: maybe, uh...fly Delta?) On a child's superman costume: "Wearing of this garment does not enable you to fly." (I don't blame the company. I blame the parents for this one.) On a Swedish chainsaw: "Do not a ttemept to stop chain with your hands or genitals." (Oh my God...was there a lot of this happening somewhere?)
  12. Looks gen but the 2836 stamping could be better
  13. Top right hand corner of your post Options Display mode Linear And you will be sorted
  14. Chris should sort this out, if it is as you say then any one should get this replaced.
  15. OMG what a lot of snow, cool dog , very cool, or is that cold?
  16. Fiddys back then TJ all working well?
  17. Good question, i would asume yes but you would be using a different hole the main problem will be the thickness the BOB is 4mm, how thick is the rep strap where it goes through the clasp
  18. I was having a good look at thes yesterday in the AD window, i never realised they would be soo big, but there is something about the bezel that looks od it may be the width or the angle, still nice looking Nice, all we have in germany is dull damp and rain for me
  19. I like BOB straps http://www.waccex.de/catalog/index.php?cPath=149_153_160 i can not see a black with red any where but you will find something to suit you there i am sure it is 20/18 you need.
  20. I dont see any hole for the micro adjustment in the photos, normaly on the non floding side of the clasp there would be two sets of holes for the bracelet to attach to giving a modicum of mico adjustment you mat still have them it is just that i cant see them, other wise you are looking for a half link and i dont think you get them for that style, on the bright side it will look great on a black leather strap with red stiching.
  21. I can only say welcome to RWG, i will be sure to pay attention to my spelling from now on!
  22. Is the tube position better now Tribal, is it higher?
  23. Yep i am fome all the time, pop round if you are in the area, you have my handy number? Ah great news!!!!!!!!
  24. Glad i did not spend the extra then, i have found so far thet results vary as the weather the movement is in the case or not and where the movement is placed on the mic but getting used to it now, my railmaster was a pain as it need servicing i think but i cot it back to plus 2 seconds, here are a couple of photos of a brand new seagull ST3600 (unitas copy) running @ 21600 bph A well running example of a watch i was finishing putting together, the 3 blips are my daughter talking Brand new movement that i messed up the beat and timing on, running plus 2 and half min fast a day Getting better opps too slow closer About as good as it gets Now bear in mind that this is only on one axis to get it better i have to go through a balancing act with this get a reading of pendant up/down/left/right ect and then make an average, now if i sont restart the timer it will give me an average any way but the noise of me moving it makes an efect also so it is better to make the avaerge manualy. I hope this helps, i like the devise it certanly helps me. I was wondering if the microphone from a Vibrograph like ziggy has would fit and work this uses a normal 3.5mm?? jack plug? Any thoughts?
