The idea of the reviewd watch being sold on to the good of the board is a very good idea. if the practice of sending watches out for review i belive the SAME watch should be reviewed by at least 2 pers to ensure that it is fully objective and it has the perspective of more than one set of eyes. If that review (both published at the same time results in increased sales then the daeler may want to treat those reviewers favorably on a future purchace. I Think that the reviewed watch should then go to the good of the forum.
I do however belive that the reviewer should be rewarded for their time and effort in writing and photographing the watch.
Reviewers with the skills such as Bytor and Pugwash must spend hours working on the reviews they write and it is only fair they be rewarded.
I for one would love a colletor to send a PAM to Bytor for a review!
I would go with loctight 272, it is a basicaly a thread locker, it crytalises and fills all spaces but would not make it so hard that it could not be removed if needed, what ever glue you use you will need to articulate the joint a bit while it glues so that the inner part remains mobile.
Bass it might be similar in function but aspheticaly it is [censored]ing stunning!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
by the way i had a similar prblem with an asian and all it was, was the main gear securing screw was not quite tight and the clich was not engaging on the teeth very well, i nipped the screw up and now it is fine.
In the mean time open the crown and place it in a ziploc bag or small tupperwear container with a silica gel pack, you know the little envelopes that you get packaged with beef jerky and electical goods to keep them dry, this will dry out the air inside hopefully, it would be better if you could get the back off but it will help with the drying over all.
Cats we will toast to your health, and when you are feeling better we can do it all again to say hi to you.
Yep only 2 weeks to go now, not had any more interst in the last couple of weeks but if people are interested, please get in touch i am sure it will be a great evening for all.
Understanding Anger and Iritability
By some Doctor
Not my normal choice of book but it was recomended by a doctor, strangly enough, after and incident involving a parking space, a hammer and an ignorant pr1ck.
I love a good biography but one book that i loverd recently was "Forgotton Voices" by Max Arthur.
