  1. I would say that the stem locking screw has worked it's way loose should be a simple fix. Where are you in the world
  2. I have a question about tablets I am looking for a cheep knock off tab that i can but in a waterproof bag and watch TV/youtube/films on in the hot tub speces required are decent loud speakers and wifi Oh and cheep Sorry for the thread hijack
  3. Nail on the head from Rolexman i would say, it is easy to forget to engage the spring
  4. I dont think it is that big to be honest looking at the movement and subdial spacing
  5. Glues that are isocyanate give off a gas that bonds to organic matter immediately so if you have a finger print on your dial then the gas will bond to that and make it permanent. It is used by law enforcement to get finger prints off material that would normally be difficult to take a print off. Even if your crystal was perfectly clean if the glue had not fully cured and you refitted it then the gas would not be able to escape and would then collect under the crystal and any other finger prints there maybe for it to bond to. So that is why super glue is bad for watches.

well if it was a gen with a chronometer movement then you should expect -4+6 secs/day, as it is proberbly a rep you are talking about then -20+20 secs/day would be what would be acceptable from the factory, but it is not unusual to get far better. Just bear in mind that it is a rep and not a swiss watch, taking your rolex back to the AD and saying that runs 5 seconds fast a day will not get you far
  15. you can replace just the spring or the complete barrel, not a difficult job to do at all
  16. hmm what can i do with these bad photo btw not bad printing

    6497-1 Stem

you should have to turn the small screw that is next to and just up from the stem no more than 1 1/2 turns and then you can remove the stem
  18. You can make a 2846 hack as well So You Have the best of both worlds and convert it to GMT
  19. it is possible though with just a clarks crystal, a gen tube and gaskets
