  1. I need to find a place in the U.S. that has the parts in stock to convert my 7734 sub dial from 30 to 45. I know cousins has it but i would like ro find a place in the U.S.
  2. The dial looks real nice. The 7750 versions have sub dial spacing that is a little off but it is real close. Besides how many people have ever seen one of these in real life? The asymmetrical pushers are what counts. Nice looking watch.
  3. In 1990 i paid $40 for a no crown guard sub that was from the 50's or 60's that i took as a trade in my parents jewelry store. The guy tolfd me it was full of rust. It actually was fine. I sold it for $350. I wish i had it back today.
  4. Those are "just as good" as any I have ever seen. My 7032 is flying to the spa for assembly. Without a 128 i should say.
  5. M from what has been said here before most will find that the pushers from DW are pretty good. That is as long as they work ok. Sometimes the DW pushers have a loose fit and will unscrew from the case. There are two different types that can be found on DW case. It depends on which one you get. If you get a DW case and the pushers have no issues I would keep them. If you have to buy some Ofrei has some good ones. Although you will probably have to mod the case to make them fit. The thread pitch is different. The case will have to be tapped out to accommodate the Ofrei pushers. While you are at it be sure to get the lower profile case back. Of course once you do that you will have to remove the winding pendulum on the back of the movement. Original 6263's were manual wind anyway. Then you need to remove the auto winding gears because daily winding will damage the watch because the auto winding gears can not do it right. They will grind up and send metal shavings into the movement.
  6. I asked Mary and she looked but could not find one. Someone out there has one but no one can find the source.
  7. Frank tell us the story on the dial? Getting a dial that does not have date on it is always an issue.
  8. Also, for some reason the 7750 cases are much cheaper. You might want to save all the headaches and fet it from Spin.
  9. M do you want a case for V72 or 7750?
  10. Every time you do this it renews my interest in this model. Thanks!
  11. Great looking watch Ubi. This one is definitely a keeper.
  12. Another nice one! Great job as always. I will need to have someone to assemble mine when the parts come in.
  13. Interesting, I did not know that. I like the beveled edge better. It has a faceted look that is great under lights.
  14. I saw this on the bay: 21 Tropic All of the non-Rolex tropics I have seen have rounded sides. This one seems to more closely resemble a gen at a reasonable price. What do you think?
  15. Wow! What a nice job! I think you have put me over the edge my friend. I have my 7734 waiting but i have put off ordering the parts........

  17. What had to be done to get the crystal to fit. Also, is there an acter market crystal that is decent that can be used jntil a gen crystal is bought? I am in the process now.
  18. Spin does a nice job. The watch looks great. This may have put me over the edge. I have a Valjoux 7734 waiting in the closet.
