i'm still in dire straights, however I chose denial as a coping mechanism , b also, my response to stress is to shop. I feel somewhat more secure today bencause i have worked out a long term living solution, i did have a nice size check come in from one of my clients. I've dropped oout of school for now, because the mental anguish i'm going through not sseeing my son prevents me from thinking clearly and completing my class work. After a long talk witht the head proffessor there, i might not go back, mostly because the starting salary is so low that i'd never be able to afford the loans.. and the purchase would be funded by me selling a couple of my top pieces. Which i don't really want to do. The main reason i'm thinking about it is, there are certain meetings that i go to where flashing the rolex would get me some respect. Its an image thing. plus at that price, i could sell it anytime for a profit. my jewler is a good friend of mine, does about all my watch work for free. by the way, there was a gold rep reuben barachello II in hiss shop, i asked to see it to see if it was real and, no gears !!! was that anyone heres? apparently it was a big client of the shop.

hangin in there. I'm just numb to the whole thing. I moved to a dorm, now i'm moving again to an apartment, so my crap is spread between a house, dorm room and soon to be apt. Then, i'll get to shooting the nardins, i want to do the group pics cause i'm sure there are already some great macro reviews. where i'm having problems is deciding what to get or how to pay for the watches i want. the zenith, the newest sinn and the 2 45mm nardins I had an idea, you guys may or may not have seen Richard had put the die cast black and red strap, on the sinn, i ordered one, the one made for the pvd breitling. Anyway, i was thinkign the chrono sinn in pvd, to do a black and WHITE strap, white sides, white underside white stitching. with that die cast look. there is less red in the chrono, lots more white, could look awesome, need $$

i know i promised photos, but here is alittle reality - This divorce thing when we actually had to seperate hit me like a ton of bricks. I thought it would be better ifd i took my son for a day, but,that turned out to be a huge mistake, today i was a wreck all day. I'm dropping out of school. for now. i need some time to heal. Living nightmare ok, i have gotten all the nardins (mostly) except for the largest ones which i have on order. some comments. Cheap, roman numeral piece - white, looks, eh, canal street-ish. Black one looks like a million bucks - the best rep for the money hands down. Black surf, blue surf - both amazing, rubber or easy buy the dimple pieces, the black one must be worn with the right outfit, it doesn't look right just on inn shorts or whatever, it looks cheesy. But wore a black t shirt and it looked like a million bucks white dimnple - i highly suggest steel bracelet its a winner in all circumstances also got my HK tan strap and it looks like a million bucks. the Sinn watch is the best AR i have seen. Its awesome awesome awesome i'm going to get that other SIN in the pvd. Don't know about a strap for that. maybe a white threaded and painted on the side die cut black on top. I also want a zenith, but i just saw a new variation hit. maybe i should wait a bit on those and see what variations come out. I don't have the monoey for thesse. i'm going to have to find more things in my house to sell. my collection hsa now gotten out of control. Whenever i get my mental stuff back i'll start with photos. Thre are lots that need to be done but i like it ALOT. i have with me in exile, ran out of my dorm, i took my drugs(legal) pillows and my sinn and black surfe on bracelet. the nardins are by any measure some of the most reasonably prices reps in rep history. (if we could just do Double AR_) and the sin is the coolest thing to hit the boards since Pams. they all get phoband's thumbs uup hope all is well.

i'm living among stacks of boxes, when i get moved i'll photo for my sinn, i'm getting the die cut black with red strap from HKTAN, which is why i might get the pvd sinn. It looked amazing for RL. We'll see. i'm just always afraid, cause you scratcch it your done.

I am a huge nardin fan - and a Pretty good sinn fan. I first got the chronograph nardin a few months back, its a solid, feels gen sort of piece. Very good quality top to bottom. Then the blue surf - its Awesome. LOVED it and the price was amazing. great great deal. I recently ordered more of the collection, my plan had always been to have a big nardin collection. So, first 2 came in, dimple black dial on black rubber. This is a nice watch. However, for me, there is something just not quite the same as the surf. I think the color in teh bezel makes it feel like a deeper rehaut. Cause i compared they are the same. nBut the blue one to me looks better. I also got the roman numeral non diver watch version, its also a GREAT bargain for the quality. The rubber strap on this one, is a step down from the rest and the it holds onto the main watch is too loose and twistable compared to the gen. Teh watch itself looks great, i think it could be easily pulled off. I ordered a gold/blue surf for my dad. He loves it. To pink gold for me. But its a great watch, it seems that the blue in the whole watch is SOOOO dark. but if you can pull off rose gold and want a sport watch - couldn't get a better deal for the money in my opinion. i also have a white dimple dial on SS band coming and a black dial of the roman numeral one. - not sure why i don't have them yet. I'm going to oorder the 45mm nardin and the zenith extreme. My sinn u2, is first class. the strap is HUGE i can't say enough about how great it is, if your on the fence it better be cause your balls are stuck - so just keep going let whatever tissue dislodge that will happen and get that sinn I'm wondering if i should get the pvd. i wish i really knew the quality. Now, in case you say phoband, thought you were down and oout, yes, actually today was one of the worst day s of my life, my wife moved out with my son. Very hard very hard to see him go. Because of the moving i've been selling everythign in sight. I also sold my gen corum cause i had planned to go nardin nuts this summer didn't realize how much mania there would be but it is what it is. And, with the way this place works, if i get more down and out than i expected, i'll just sell some of the reps. So i see it like a savings acct Buying things tends to happen when i get depressed. So, in a few weeks when things settle down and i'm all moved into my new dorm (at age 35) i'll whip out the lightbox and take some real shots of my nardin family. But i can put my stamp of approval on all these watches, they are great watches regardless of theprice and at those prices,, they are must buy's if your into em. I made a conscious decision to have pieces just as mostly display and thats where i'm at yo peace out

is it heavy and or awkward? i saw the band is rubber, i would assume that negates the weight ect

I have gotten a good relationship going with a jersey dealer. I've gotten 50 of them so far, all great condition, great quality. If you have an ability to sell some, not on the forum here, and ebay and craigslist get you when you do the high profile ones, so your really looking at your local network or people you can be involved with. let me know, i'll explain how i have it setup and you can make a decision if it works for you. The orders have to be minimum of 10 jerseys, but they don't have to be the same. Shipping is faster than watches. Again this is NOT to be sold on the forum, and i'm not looking to sell jerseys here. look at the photos at hont's site, its a no brainer to order if you have the cash, looks like a 1 in a million rep. thats assuming dlc is right i will say this i can tell you wholesale cost on this watch is very high compared to the retail price. on the same token, some idiot tried to charge 400 for the defy that came out 5 months ago looking like it had down syndrom

there are plenty of super reps out there that fit the bill, the swiss steelfish among them and the perception that you speak of is a bad one for us, to high quality means more enforcement because incidents of people being ripped off Rep as Gen sales will be up. Just imagine, go to a tourist destination, like jamacia - where its likley enough that you couuld have some of these 2 and 5 k watches, stolen or otherwise, mexico, someplace the cops aren't to hard core - stand around on the streets near a watch stores, lour watch collectors into the alley, and tell them not to ask questions, sell the 2k sinn for 1k. how easy would it be to sell some of these, and you don't have to sell very many to "cover expenses" reps are best enjoyed alone with a sifter of brandy
