  1. The yellow accents are not all. The hour markers on the Ti/yellow are metallic stickers whereas on the SS/white are plain white paint. So the yellow dial is much more beautiful, and its beauty far outweighs the innacuracy of the case & bracelet material. I bought the SS/yellow replica and later I got the white internal bezel. I know that all the variations of my watch are fantasy ones, but again, the dial with metallic stickers is a work of art and worth having.
  2. 400 or 4000? Four thousands is more reasonable. A typo maybe? Four hundred dollars is really a low asking price for a gen IWC with a rattrapante movement. I would stay away.
  3. After properly cleaning and oiling it, you mean, right?
  4. May I suggest this link? http://www.repgeek.com/showthread.php?t=54...;highlight=bing
  5. aoobuy.com But I can't vouch for the quality of what they sell because my one and only order (Hublot boxset and two rubeer straps) is stuck in customs office for over a month now!! Communication, however, has been great since the very first email. The guys over there refer to you as "friend" in all their messages, and in my case they have been extremely helpful when it comes to answering questions.
  6. :give_rose: Did it help? Buy it, man. When you get it, if you really don't like it, you just sell it!
  7. I just can't stand these morons who come here every now and then asking for someone else to decide what/whether they must (not) buy. I bear these narrow-minded loosers no ill will. IMO, this particular watch is absolutely and brilliantly FUGLY. It seems to me that this Mr. Murphy somehow thinks alike, so why does he even bother to air his indecision? Come on brother, if you don't like, don't buy it. Period! (Look a these poor guy: +790 posts and still didn't realise what is (or isn't) good for him!! Go figure!)
  8. Here, take a peek: http://www.repgeek.com/showthread.php?t=57804&page=2
  9. I will definitely buy one of these Base Jumps when they're out.
  10. Since I saw their new catalogue, I am officially saving money for the AWESOME Base Jump. What a watch!!! I am eargerly waiting for September.
  11. The only problem I see is getting the ETA part. I ordered day and date wheels from cousins one week ago, and still the parts haven't been dispatched. I contacted them and was told that many ETA parts are out of stock.
  12. If you don't mind being directed to RG, my "modded" porsches may be seen here: http://www.repgeek.com/showthread.php?t=48969
  13. I am having a white internal bezel substitute for the yellow one on my IWC Aquatimer, while keeping the yellow minute hand. Also, I swapped the cases between my two P-6340 so that I now have one in black (PVD) case + dark grey dial and the other in stainless steel case + black (actually, it's dark grey) dial'n'hands.
  14. Take a look at RG. They have posted the pics there.
  15. Magnus has just posted at RG a seemingly inexpensive and trusted (RWI) dealer who sells boxes for quite less than we see around here. Take a look at www.aoobuy.com
  16. And? Eyecandy section maybe? I will check it out.
  17. I recently bought a TW GMT from a member. It is one of my favourite watches when it comes to design: classy yet modern, elegant and discreet. It still didn't arrive (it has not even been shipped as I learned yesterday ), but hopefuly I will have it by mid-January!
  18. I tried the Slevins (both yellow and white) at an AD this week. There is nothing big about this model, it is simply a nice size. I am not sure, but I believe it is smaller (equal, at most) than the porsche flat 6, for those who know this other watch. The strap and bracelet are equally narrow, I believe under 20mm at the lugs and narrower at the clasp. And I have to add that the yellow Slevin is A LOT prettier than the white one, but this is only my opinion. And I have just bought a yellow rep on bracelet, but it is SS and not Ti though.
  19. I really like this model, but am not sure about accuracy to the gen. The skeletonized seconds hand seems to be thicker than it should, the "bezel" seems to be thicker also. The seconds markers and number look bolder. Anyone confirms this?
  20. Thank you for the link. I missed that one!
