Anyone else see Joshua's new VC Overseas? To my untrained eye, it looks pretty damn good compared to photos of the genuine. I guess that makes sense since a genuine was used by the manufacturer to replicate it. The only potential flaw I see (and it may not be a flaw at all) is that the VC emblem under the 12 does not appear to be of the same size or as pronounced as it is on the genuine. Either way, this could very well be my next rep.

Today it's pay pal, but eventually it will go beyond pp and into the other money-middle-men. This is an illegal industry, so simple logic would dictate that the money-middle-men will NEVER give the benefit of the doubt to anyone involved in these transactions (especially the dealers!) and logic will mandate that there will ALWAYS be buyers looking to scam dealers because the scammer buyers know that pay pal or whoever will likely side with the person claiming that he received something that was counterfeit or broken... It is a sad day for this dishonest little hobby of ours ...

You cant go wrong with Josh. His reputation is gold around here. -
Anyone complaining about gas prices that are higher than the prices in the US can only blame themselves and their govenrments for being taxed to hell...yeah, socialist societies are the way to go! And next time I want to hear a politcal opinion from someone like "slay", I will ask my 4 yearold son for his opinion.

I hate hoax warnings, but this one is important. Please send this to everyone on your e-mail list... If a man comes to your front door and says he is conducting a survey and asks you to show him your ass, DO NOT show him your ass. This is a scam -- he only wants to see your ass. I wish I'd gotten this yesterday. I feel so stupid and cheap.

By a genuine if it bothers you that much and a geunine is any better, or, as stated above, buy a quartz. I have 20+ automatics and no winders. So I reset my watches almost every time I rotate (which is daily) and I just dont care if my watch gains or loses a few minutes a day. Maybe I would care if I was in a job that required by the second time keeping, but I am not...so it's all good.

Please tell Neil that I too love him

Tuning fork baby...it's all about the tuning fork. Accutron (aka Bulova) patented the use of tuning forks in their watches to keep time. Tuning fork technology preceded quartz technology and was considered to be very, very accurate back in the day when everyone else was making automatic movement watches. Accutrons were used by NASA for space flight and were also used as state gifts from the US to foreign dignitaries/visitors. I have an accutron, but it is not a tuning fork movement.

@bra3000 If you pull up the list of active moderators over at RWG, Gran is NOT listed as a mod and has not been since the day after he edited/deleted/moved posts. The fact that "moderator" is still below his name is not indicative of anything, because blade gave people a choice back in the day as to what they wanted written below their names (i.e., morderator, non-compassionate conservative, etc.)...so it is not indicative of gran's powers or lack thereof over there. Lastly, from my memory as a moderator over there, members who have their posting abilities removed can still log in, but they just cannot post or edit. Only admin could do that to a mod... So there ya go, and no matter where ya go...there ya are.

I have as much knowledge as anyone about the RWG watch fiasco (other than Blade, Eric and Gran) and I can say without a doubt that there was never any indication or proof IMO that gran was somehow involved in the undelivered watches. I dont exactly see eye to eye with gran on all that happened over at old RWG, but I most certainly do not believe that he played any role whatsoever in the dispursement of monies or failure to send out what was paid for. With that said, I think we should just move on. @joshua: 1) how do you know if Eric was or was not paid? do tell... 2) money was collected because if it was not collected on the front end, then people could/would/did commit but then back out...IMO, it makes sense for adavance payment for a mass order of a watch that did not previously exist. 3) Blade swithed suppliers because King's watch was way small and many of the people who paid for it chimed in over at old RWG that they were not at all happy with the smaller version. It is irrelivant if king was going to allow people to order/pay at a later time if her watch was way off.

So if we are to discuss politics in off topic, then we shouldnt allow are posts to become "humorous"?
