  1. I was thinking about getting this one, but I have heard a lot of horror stories about how sloppy the lume has been applied - would you be able to post a close up shot of the lume? thanks
  2. Here is my Graphite BCE that I received yesterday - quite a difference to the pervious version I will post a more detailed picture review once I have a little more time
  3. I had this issue on 2 Swiss 7750s and a couple of Asia 7750s, in most cases it is the hand having slipped and it doesn't generally mean that you have a bad movement.
  4. nice and welcome to the gen Panerai owners club - quite a difference eh?
  5. I am sure Angus is busy sending all the Graphite dial watches out and will update us soon....hope mine is the first one he shipped
  6. My watches were sent to The Zigmeister - per EMS, but they are not there yet. The Zigmeister just reconfirmed that he will remove the crystals as soon as he gets the watches and send to Chieftang. I will keep everybody here updated and report back as soon as crsytals have been removed and are on their way to Chieftang.
  7. You should read some of the movement reviews by The Zigmeisterzumba - pretty enlightening as far as how good an reliable the A7750s can be. With replicas it is and remains a question of pure luck if you get a good one or bad one, no matter if Swiss or Asian...I had it either way remember als that lots of folks here complain about slipping hands etc., which again I also had with Swiss 7750s, so it is not a perticular problem that the Asia version faces but more of a general problem with replicas
  8. still runs great - don't want to jinx it though
  9. with that layout the ASIA 7750 28.800BPH is just fine - if you get a Swiss7750 there is no guaranties either in terms of movement quality and proper oiling etc. - I sometimes even wonder if it is not better to get a new ASIAN 7750 rather than a second hand, lower quality, bastardized Swiss
  10. well, the truth is that neither of them have the correct dial color - at least what can be seen from the pictures - don't get me wrong it looks great, but I believe the gen is darker and has a more grayish/blue than a plain gray tone too it A Hybrid between the 2 could yield the right results and than of course the before mentioned missing second marker at 9 and GMT hand size...please dealers have that fixed
  11. sounds great I am in for 2 for now
  12. now I remember that one - special edition of 1 of 1 too funny
  13. don't get your hopes up that this will be released any time soon - as far as I know the Chopard Mille Miglia and the PAM 252 are to be released first and with Chinese New Year approaching quickly my guess would be April/May timeframe
  14. graphite with graphite subdials = red Automatic slate grey with black subdials = white Automatic
  15. take the 111 doesn't get any more Panerai than that - at AD's the 111 is harder to come by than the 177, my AD had a 177 on display now for a couple of months, but whenever he has a 111 it is pretty much gine right away. Taste plays a significant role on this one though - so ultimately you have decide whether you prefer the mirror polished 111 or the stealthier 177
  16. depending on the price I would be in for at least 2 - but more importantly I am anxiously the ultimate strap and buckle for the 187
  17. the crown guard and crown are actually pretty accurate on the 50 - remember it is 40mm PAM and has a different skinnier crown guard - of course you are right that if the issues get fixed on the Logo it would be great - but than again that is true for a lot of the replicas
  18. sorry M8 but the dial print is off quite significantly and considering the crownguard it is by far not as a accurate as the 050
  19. so it is a matter of taste over accuracy/quality?
  20. care to explain what you mean by lumpy - I just don't know that word
  21. that's awesome news Angus - can't wait to get mine
  22. I would have never guessed dadog13
