  3. sorry folks, just came home...my company just announced today that we are going public I guess that means a lot more watches in my future I promise that I post all the pics of the Breitling in about 30 minutes and it is not a Colt or Avenger/Super Avenger.....
  4. the biggest flaw on the old version was the hands: they have the wrong color - greyish chrome rather than high polished finished.
  5. not a Rolex guy myself, but thanks for sharing...I like your slogan under your signature
  6. very well said there are certainly those out there - noobies listen up - , but I doubt that you find them under the more experienced posters here - I walked into dealerships before and after the sales rep admired my replica I tell him everytime that it is a replica...I just love the look on their faces I am 100% with you I still don't think that there is any replica that comes 99.99% close to the craftsmenship, quality etc....not out of the box same here
  7. well done - excellent review
  8. nice watch and great genuine Breitling croc strap - wear it well
  9. call it what you want I think it is very smart marketing - even I (being German and all) like it
  10. yes for now it is, the black that's yet to be released should also be accurate - well black is black isn't it I just hate the color of the subdials being different than the dial on the Graphite after all this anticipation amd the long wait
  11. that's called marketing my friend - not funny at all and IWC certainly doesn't expect a Marine to buy the watch maybe not even a Naval Aviator
  12. here is a post on TZ that shows the color http://forums.timezone.com/index.php?t=tre...6&rid=24140
  13. TT Roadster with a hot engine (APR chip updgrade) - lots of fun to drive, perfect for a single guy I have taken off the bracelet and will shot some pictures of the bracelet and the watch with strap soon
  14. well said and true!! thanks everybody for your compliments
  15. Shapur on Post St.
  16. in general I would say everything can be replicated, the big question is always how close to the genuine it will be - in this case I believe the replica makers would not be inclined to go thru great length like with the HBB or any of the other more popular watches. The biggest reasons that this can not be replicated with any accuracy are: - while the movement is loosly based on a 2892 it has a couple of unique features, like small seconds subdial and power reserve that will be hard to replicate, unless of course the Chinese would do a gear only modification and ad a PR module - which I doubt will happen. - the movements blue Titanium coating would also be difficult to replicate and I doubt that the replica makers would be interested in a low volume product that only watch enthusiasts know and the biggest reason is: BECAUSE I SAY SO
  17. he must have had several cameras synchronized to take the different pictures at the same time
  18. great pictures - but second batch...I doubt it and it also looks like your hour subdial hand is running constantly, so what's up with that???
  19. I might meet Rolf very soon in San Francisco - my AD is hosting an event for UN customers there....
  20. I got no tracking number at all and honestly I didn't care about one either since I waited since early Jan to receive it...just try to forget about it and be surprised when it finally shows up lume sucks as usual - like all rep lumes it has significant erectile dysfunction
