  1. I don't think it has anything to do with the movement itself since I had similar problems with Swiss 7750's - slipping hands, not properly resetting, etc. - I would rather say that hand posts not being attached/fixed properly are responsible and the total lack of consistency when being put together. Replicas that are being drop shipped will remain a pure game of chance no matter what movement they have.... I have yet to have an Asian 7750 that dies on me - except for the running seconds at 6 ones
  2. oh I like this one...maybe something like a common sense, courtesy, maturity and manners certificate. You start off with questions that would make anybodies blood boil and see if they loose their cool in the response. It is really sad that anybody would behave like this
  3. IWC uses English and German words/pronunciations for its watch models - hence the word Ingenieur, it is a French word but also a German word, it is not pronounced An...but In..like in inbound - if you look thru their names they are either German or English - e.g. Fliegeruhr, Portugieser and Aquatimer, Spitfire, etc. listen here: http://dict.leo.org/le?13912838
  4. they have stolen his Notebook so he has a difficult time accessing email/Internet - he is fine though
  5. just bought my first replica pens from Sash and for the money they are amazing The fountain pen came with a converter and takes original MB refills; it writes quite nicely so far. The ball pen also takes gen refills. This is the first time I took photos of pens and it is quite different from shooting watches...was playing around with DOF and different settings.
  6. I don't think so...it remains readable for an entire night. SL specifications also say differently - your PAM shop is abviously clueless
  7. you are of course right, bezel and crown guard on the gen are SS - I should have done my research properly before I posted my concerns
  8. mmmmhhhh Miura - how could I forget - first 12 cylinder mid engine car and a beauty at that
  9. it's great to see the old master back and he starts again with a unique piece
  10. finally somebody mentioning the Porsche Carrera GT - forget Ferrari and Lamborghini also on my list would be a BMW 507 and a Mclaren F1...gotta love the BMW 12 cylinder engine
  11. well it is a holiday today in the US - so time to wear something special
  12. looking at those pictures it seems that the bezel and the crown might be SS and not Titanium, what a shame that this one will also be to big for my wrist
  13. I meant the one pictured has no Sapphire
  14. everybody has been selling this model for a while and despite what you might think it doesn't come with the proper deployment on carbon fiber - the picture is misleading and shows a genuine "Riva" strap on deployment - it also has no Sapphire....
  15. this is why RWG is such a great place - thanks all to all the noobs and obviously the big donors, it is rare to find this sense of community in the virtual world
  16. I will have a spare 212 case with reworked crown guard lever, including the crystal soon - so if you have some time I would be happy to let you have it for a small fee - mine get's a new case with polished pushers, correct crown guard and AR sapphire PM me
  17. here is the table the specifies the COSC standards - you are extremely lucky if you get even close to that with any replica, even the ones with Swiss movements
