  1. that looks fantastic Rob - it gave me a new appreciation of the SMP chrono and reaffirmed my already great confidence in your abilities
  2. so you had a bad experience with people committing and not showing up than I assume? Thanks for the tip
  3. it seemed to be a mood point to keep the title of thread when the cat was out of the bag - I also wanted to make sure that members can relate to the topic description...edited: was a stupid comment - peace! This one justifies a custom smiley: or maybe this one
  4. lucky bastard - no weekend here in the west yet nice pics as usual
  5. a typical MSFT release I am afraid - may the best BS win over the best product
  6. sure thing - let's switch to PM
  7. I am right accros from SFO - San Bruno/Millbrea, but work in the City
  8. I have strated a thread over on RWI about a potential GTG with fellow watch enthusiast on a Sunday mid to end of March - hoping that this is not inappropriate I would like you to please visit the below RWI thread and provide feedback there http://replica-watch.info/forum/viewtopic.php?t=16407 Mods: If this is not cool, please let me know and I start a seperate thread here
  9. if the chrono was running why is the large second hand and the minute subdial static?
  10. it looks great on photos, but I just didn't like how it looked on my wrist - don't get me wrong it is an awesome watch - just not for me
  11. the most interesting thing to watch is how the variety of virtualization platforms will enter the market and get customers...they don't have any yet
  12. well I guess you wouldn't get one of the 3 made anyway not even for $2M
  13. I agree with Neil, without a doubt Vacheron Constantin’s Tour de l’Ile – World’s Most Complicated Watch
  14. 44.8mm and about 16mm thick - wears about as big as a Panerai, but very comfortable
  15. since it didn't get any wrist time I traded it for a Breitling Hercules chrono on Timezone - it was one of those impulse buys, but I actually never really got used to the look of it on my wrist - seems like my taste changes rapidly
  16. San Francisco yeah I had a hard time getting a photo that shows the AR or the crsytal for that matter - on most of my other watches the crystal can be seen clearly even on my gen Panerai and Ulysse Nardin
  17. thanks Pug...I'll check it out
  18. nice TT!! I didn't know that it also came with polished case - is that dial black or blue?
  19. Hey Bean - 196 swap from 7750 to 7753 can't be done, since the date cutout is positioned slightly different and larger I believe as for the Monaco: I would love to see a nice replica of it....
  20. aren't they going for a little over $200 - I have to start investigating :-)
  21. very nice kruzer - I also love my 196 old case 7753 and I am jealous about the datewheel - I would have put it in the 196 though or do you have 2
  22. Brushed Metal AR visible
  23. I should get one of those Monster's I guess
  24. hey TT - just received it today, traded it for my Sinn U2 that got no wrist time and I agree a 100%...fabulous piece of metal sorry Ubi didn't mean to hijack your thread...
  25. yes genuine and I assume that it would be incredible hard to rep with any sort of accuracy...unless they rep the Kelek module that is responsible for the complications
