Too bad most woman wants a QUARTZ, but since this has a seconds hand Auto is the only way to go, since a sweeping hand is much more elegant than one that jumps every second. If the watch has has no second hand (like some of the LVs) so then its perfectly ok with a quartz in my opinion. Asian or swiss movement does not matter much as long as it has the proper functions or closed case back.
