  1. If you asked me this a couple weeks ago I would have to go for my 111 as well, H model though with swan neck / AR / relume / cap hands (need to change these) etc. However recently I can't seem to get my 212 of the wrist no matter what, I did wear my 111H today as I didnt have time to change straps to another colour on the 212 and the re-lume and the AR coating did give me a big smile but not enough to change my mind even with all its flaws.
  2. Davidsen can probably help considering he is ever helpfull with requests for custom pam dials /models and so forth, he would need exact specifications and a high res image though. I think he needs a min order of something like 50 or so IIRC but thats if he can even do Cartier ones
  3. Have to go with Italy too, though did anyone watch the Ghana game ? what a great un-expected performance
  4. Well with this great weather sitting on the terrace drinking a few beers watching the football I had to go for my 212 yet again
  5. See loads around generally out and about at night or even at day but I guess thats mostly the work crowd, I have a few fellow watch fans at work and generally in this area is full of stockbrokers / bankers types. Have spotted several Panerai (saw a gold Radiomir at dinner last night), Patek's, Rolex's, Cartier's (most popular). Most recent would have to be this morning saw a guy getting out of a freshly washed black X5 (dont they just look lovely) wearing a submariner going into blockbuster as I was coming out.
  6. A month might be a bit too long to return to dealer, he has no way of knowing its not been a daily beater for the past month. Try giving Finepics a PM, hes a local watch guru who might be able to help with it
  7. If you hit New Bond street you can check out the Watches of Switzerland there and another one thats right next to Bvlgari (cant remember the name) also from there Selfridges is only up the road and they sometimes have a nice collection too. Then hop onto a bus / taxi / tube to Knightsbridge and check out the WoS there and the Harrods watch department which is full of goodies too
  8. Was uninspiring at best but atleast England won so thats all that matters Would be good to see maybe Owen and Rooney with Lennon all on and see what they can come up with
  9. Hopefully 2-0 but the way England played the last one you never know
  10. Well spotted rocket, totally missed that one. The dial is still all wrong as you pointed out inc the spacing / sizing of the Cartier and Automatic, after looking at it I don't think it justifies the upgrade from this version so I guess thats some money saved Ah well, time to consider some other watch I guess
  11. Damn that really does suck ! You sure you are okay with titanium ? Personally I wouldn't go for the Chrono Avenger and the normal one, just way too similiar. The compass style straps are pretty good for a retro look as well BTW for the sake of your allergies I'll be happy to take the AP off your hands
  12. Nice colour, love my 212 too and think it goes really well with lighter straps
  13. Long Monday has it been Feek ? Casey, any reason she was handling it ? Or just a casual glance when you were trying on the other watches ? Had a AD compliment me on the 212 couple days ago while also adding "we've just had one in of these" which made my heart sink a bit but he was just "lovely aren't they!"
  14. So Chronus, 2 - 0 - Ghana played remarkably well though dont ya think ?
  15. That SLR rep is crazy, saw it a while back - very impressive work. As for the Real doll rep I am not sure I would want the gen either

    ...

Haha damn that was pretty impressive
  17. Dang, I like glocks. So what's a man's pistol then ? Though unlike my watches, sadly all the guns I have are replica's too (well more like high end toys), due to the laws in the country The replica's might lack the bang but they are still good fun to play with
  18. Damn those are some pyscho looking birds, whats in their feed ?!
  19. Fantastic tutorial, I still wouldn't give it a whirl myself though. Although it has to be said I am worryingly looking at different leathers now and thinking "Wow that would make a great strap" - gets on the nerve of the gf but its good to know that belts are suitable too
  20. Doesn't really matter whcih one suits, as long as you like it is what makes it work Personally I'd go for the lighter grey due to the stitching as well on the other one I don't think we'll be seeing Veni for a few days, atleast not if he values his manhood not being cut off by his new bride
  21. Might have to do with a certain fact that oil is indeed running out world wide and at best estimates its going to be another 10 years before a serious shortage and they are looking at in in a more long term way then just flooding the market now when they can sell it at a much much higher cost in the future
  22. Your strap collection seems to by sky rocketing recently Nice new addition
  23. Here you go http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/middle_east/5053134.stm We should know by now that Iraq had nothing to do with freeing the country or finding weapons of mass destruction but seemingly more to do with that little bit of black gold they have
  24. Nice, very nice infact I have been thinking of getting a bike for the summer (although nothing like that obviously) although I think I would prefer a ride on HighflyingClive's bike as well
  25. The 212, yet again. I have had this on my wrist so much over the past month I am actually starting to think it might be time to get rid of some of the other PAM's
