I think that most genuine dials are silk screened. This process gives the appearance that the text and logos on the dial are raised. This process you are talking about is more like the tattoos you find in a cracker jack box. Any text or logo will be flat and the dial will appear to be refinished poorly. Additionaly, I don't know of any printer that can accurately print anything as small as it would need to be. I have a color laser printer and the quality of small text isn't as crisp as I would like.

Another one pulling the trigger. Why don't you hear this phrase from anyone with over 200 posts? Is there a way to block this phrase from being posted? It's like nails on a chalkboard to me. BTW, they are all the same watch. WO-Mart is cheaper, but you must pay with western union. For about $1,500 you can get a genuine pre-owned tank.

HS Graduation would be a perfect occasion for a genuine watch. You can pick up a ladies' constellation for around $1,000. Nice to have something that will last a lifetime. If that is out of the budget, I would just get her the blinged out rollie, she'll enjoy it and there are many young girls in south florida with genuine $20,000+ watches so if you are in the right neighborhood most people won't ask about the authenticity. But then again, I get every woman I know a blinged out rollie.

I don't think that many people would be dumb enough to copy him. Every time he posts a stupid repair there are many replies talking about how dumb the idea is. This is sure to deter anyone from trying this at home.

I don't think he deserves to get booted. He hasn't personally attacked anyone or started any fights or really caused any trouble. He always seems cordial when people rip him a new one for being such an idiot. His antics don't bother me in the slightest. The hockey puck and a vice thing has also become an instant classic. I have used it several time as quick rebuts for stupid questions. This is a public forum and not by invitation only. If we booted everyone who makes some stupid comments or gets on some members nerves, I would have been gone a long time ago.

The clicks are supposed to be soft in the genuine as well. The tighter click bezel is only on the submariner.

Christians are the ones that are selfish IMO. It is quite selfish to believe that you are the only group that is right and everyone else is wrong. It is selfish to push your beliefs on everone else. It is selfish to teach your children things that you cannot prove and are contradicted by science. It is selfish to expect 10% of your earnings for "tidings". Religion is all about being selfish. Atheism is about having free thought. All atheists gather their own conclusions about the universe and life based on fact not fairy tales. It is selfish to expect everyone to think the same way. I purchased 250,000 new iraqi dinars a couple of years ago. I have a client who has 100,000,000 of them. Yes one hundred million. Does anyone have any insight into the iraqi economy? There is a lot of talk about the dinar shooting up in value very soon. Should I buy a couple million more or am I a schmuck for having any in the first place? This is serious. I am contemplating spending this month's watch money on dinars. Either purchase may be worthless but at least I could wear a couple watches, but if the dinars do go up Tourneau here I come!!!

I watch cramer on Mad Money and follow his advice. With the recent drop in some stocks he was suggesting Heinz, Clorox, General Foods and was really big on altria. I don't know if these would be good for a 401k because that is a very long term investment. I personally don't believe in 401k because I like to stay as liquid as possible. I have had clients try to liquidate ther 401k to invest with me and usually they get huge penalties or can't do it at all. If your company is matching your investment then it is worth it, but if not I would prefer something self directed. I am no expert and only know what I read but check out this forum: Mad Money

My girl believes in god as she always yells his name as well as jesus mary and joseph. Me on the other hand belives she believes I am god. As we are usually the only two in the room when she yells for them. The most intelligent thing I have ever read was on an atheist website that said "in this day and age of science and technology anyone who worships god must be mentally ill. You don't believe in fairies or magic so why a supreme being that controls all and performs miracles?" I also think anyone who teaches their children that the earth is 6,000 years old and men lived with dinosaurs, contrary to scientific fact, should be locked up for child abuse. Pure rubbish.

I would venture to guess this has something to do with the US recently putting pressure on China to stop counterfeiting. It is very similiar to when paypal stopped doing business with online casinos. The US puts pressure on banking institutions to stop processing payments from illeagal activities and a flunkie task force is assigned to go out and make trouble for everyone. My guess is it is very hard if not impossible to get to any of the manufacturers or large scale dealers. I am assuming the major exporters don't use paypal, so the only way to make any headway and say they did something positive in the war on counterfeiting (notice how everything in the US is a war on something?) is to put a wrench in the retail dealer's business. I can't see any individual taking the time, effort and money to buy a watch and get a dealer shut down. It has to be GAF and government related. I say [censored] em. I prefer the old way of doing business when everything was more hush hush. You email the dealer with a reference of where you got his email, negotiate a price and run to WU with a handful of cash. This hobby shouldn't be main stream. it is still illeagal. The increasing poplularity of these boards has made it so that anyone can join and cause us trouble. I think the dealers have also gotten a little too relaxed and don't realize how seriously the US takes intellectual property rights. Time to tighten up and go back to the alley behind the bar. No more dealing in front of the police station.................
