Every woman I have been serious with has a "platinum" Rolex pearlmaster. This is IMO the must have watch for any lady. It is simple, elegant and can be worn with a fancy dress or jeans. Women like versatility. My friends always joke when they see a lady with a Rolex they say "she must have dated Jody" LOL...............

I just got one from Eddie Lee. Not too impressed. As some of the asthetics have improved the quality hasn't. The new dials are very good. Nice dark blue and crisp gold printing, but the bracelet leaves something to be desired. The large half moon thumbnail cutout on the clasp also bothers me as well as the fact that the sides of the bracelet are not polished. This is one they can't seem to get right.

My thoughts exactly. Get another totally different watch for a daily beater.......

Ditto!!! I love that chronomat. Had one a few years ago picked up at a pawn shop for $3,500. Great watch. Would still like the blinged out gold version that I tried on in St Admin. Only $60,000 for that one. The reps would sell like hotcakes!!!

On the today show this morning they had a segment about the pandas at the China conservation research center. They have 18 baby pandas that need names and said they are taking suggestions from the public. Does anyone know how to get in touch with them? They did not give out an email address or anything. I propose we all email them to name one panda Admin after our admin. If we can get this done it will be a great mark to leave on the world from our small community. Very fitting that it happens to be in China as well. Then we can say to all those genuine forums, you may have a real Rolex, but we have a panda named after us!!! Take that Timezone.

Oh how the tables have turned. You should be happy your wife can share a hobby with you. Every woman I have met thinks I am crazy, especially with my shrine like area with watch winders and burl wood boxes.

I actually got a pair of those for my girlfriend. They come with a remote and you can zap her anytime, anywhere. Lots of fun. She never passed out though...........

I have owned several genuine Rolex presidents manufactured from 1980 up to 2001 and one thing is strange, the gold in all of them was always a different color. I know the cases, and bracelets are solid 18k gold. They are machined from a solid very dense block of gold. Piaget makes their watches the same way. The cases are very thick so you wont get any ben or warp and if you are careful not too many scratches. The bracelets do stretch over time. I have many gold plated watches and some for 4 years and the gold plating is still fresh. The higher quality watches like Movado and Seiko last years, and so do some reps. I can say that Trustytimes president has the best color I have seen so far too bad the dial is about 2mm too small.

That is too funny. I have read many books on blackjack and poker, card counting, odds, etc. I have made a lot of money gambling. Believe me you can beat the casinos. You just have to play the right games and know some basic strategy. You won't do it with slots or pai gow or any of the carnival games, but with blackjack or craps you can have an advantage. At the very least you can play for several hours, have some fun, get free drinks and comp points to use for a nice dinner. That is winning in my book. I love Vegas baby!!! Mine runs great. I also have a seocnds @6 daytona for a year and a half that runs great. I think this one shoud be more reliable because it only has two registers and no date. Great watch BTW. I have laid down my bling many a day for the ingy chrono!!!

RWI=High Scool RWG= Sophomore College TRC= MBA graduates lounge I find the most noobs over at RWI, but i also find less berating of their stupid questions. Here at RWG there is the most traffic and the most diverse personalities with many knowledgable mambers. I think alot of the old timers from TRC including myself spend alot of time here. This is probably the best all around forum on the internet to talk about everything from women to watches. I have a great time here. TRC is the no nonsense watches only discussion. We are a bit of a highbrow bunch that don't take kindly to strangers. You won't find much sympathy for those that don't use the search button. TRC will always be my favorite watch forum because I have the most posts there and am a well known member, lots of nostalgia. RWG, is my favorite all around forum on the web!!!

The only way to beat the casino is single deck blackjack. You will find it at the Golden Nugget downtown. I play 2 handed, $100/hand and last time made $1,100 in about 1.5 hours. If you can't count one deck, your best off not gambling.

Are you the dealer at the high stakes poker table that asked me about my Pam 251? I love Caesars. Forum shops are great. They have a Tourneau that opened there recently.

Also put the camera on a stable surface. Right in front of the watch on a table works fine. I learned that from Pugwash!!! BTW, The crown guards look pretty good on that sub from what I can see.
