Who knows? Wrapped, plated, tripple, double, 14K, 18K, it's all the same crap. I belive the difference is that wo-mart's TT sub has the gold through the middle of the endlink and josh's does not.

It had seemed for the last few months River was offering several popular watches at untouchable prices like the FA jones for $89.00. It appeared to me that he was working with his suppliers to get some good prices and reestablish himself among the top dealers. Eddie lee was also the first to introduce the Ingy chrono. I guess the suppliers are showing favoritism to the higher volume dealers making profits for the little guy slim. It seems like the end of an era. The photo albums used to be all we had, now there are full fledged websites being updated daily, online shopping carts and checkouts, and now direct credit card processing with prices clearly displayed. I always enjoyed the emailing back and forth and bargaining for multiple watches, as well as the fact that I could email eddie or river and they would know my first name just by the email address. That is all part of the fun of collecting. The average newb doesn't get that and just sees a fancy website with 1000 choices, but can you really blame them? You guys will be missed along with the others that "retired" over the years like Wade, Tommy, David, etc. I just hope that they will still be active in the community as members. Maybe we can all chip in for a couple VIP memberships.

The grade of steel is extremely important. Anything less than 316L will make the project worthless. Also, they should be able to replicate the case backs as well. Should be a package deal with the cases. Will the cases be threaded properly to accept the screw on back snug? How about polishing the sides? Will there be some finishing work to be done afterwards? As for the movement, maybe a citizen miyota or some kind of asian made movement wil fit.

I know this is way off topic, but someone here must be in sales that knows someone who knows someone, etc.... I am having trouble generating leads for my business. I have a medium sized phone sales operation and need around 1000 leads per week. My source has dried up as most lists do after a while. If anyone knows of a reliable source for an opt in email list that can generate quality leads it can be a very profitable venture. Please PM me.

How much does the Rolex school cost? -
Very cool videos. I hope we get some good reps of that ceramic bezel soon. Does anyone know if that is really their factory? I thought there was more work done by hand.

They even took the time to engrave the bridge on the movement. Wonder what they were thinking. Maybe a limited run from a small factory. Must be quite old.

That is the info I needed. Thanks. This will be my next purchase.

Can he replicate my yachtmaster in 14K gold?

I eat spaghetti with a spork.

I don't know if it is bad lighting or photography, but it seems that only one of the BCE reps have concentric circles on the dial. Every genuine I have seen has a textured dial and noone has mentioned this. Are all the colors supposed to have the circles on the dial? If not which colors do? If this has been overlooked on this watch I think it is definatley a deal killer.

This sounds like a great guy who is willing to buy lots of great watches from our dealers here and sell them direct to you at a 100% markup. At least you can see it before you buy it. But if you shop here you will save lots of money and probably get the same watch.

I am surprised that no one has mentioned the DW 6263 with the mystery movement. What a piece of crap that is. Looks great but just about unwearable. Sometimes it winds, sometimes it sets, sometimes the stem comes out and the chrono hands fall off. What a dissapointment. I have never modded a watch. I prefer to wear them just as they come and it is impossible to wear this watch without replacing the movment. The 6363 isn't even heavy enough to be a paper weight.

Does anyone know how to set the date on a genuine Explorer II? It may sound stupid, but I don't wear it very often and I can set every hand independantly but can't find a click for the date when I pull out the crown. Does this watch have a quickset date?

Heres an oldie but goodie. Over 4 years and still tickin'!!! 010.bmp

Piaget Tourbillon Relatif. The have a video of this on piaget.com that shows the tourbillon spins around the dial with the second hand. Masterpiece of engineering.

One genuine watch to wear every day: Gold Yachtmaster MOP serti dial. Simple, elegant, a bit of bling... Well, they have the most timeless design and the most wearable everyday watches. I like to wear my watches. Could you really see yourself walking through the streets of bankok with a $1,000,000 VC on your wrist? If that were the case, buy the Vacheron 250 anniversary at $2,000,000, sell it and buy my Yachtie.
