  1. Sorry to hear of your loss. Thankfully, there haven't been too many members unfortunate enough to be in the situation to make this kind of post. But although many members may choose not to comment, I think I can say that everyone here will have their own thoughts, and their thoughts will be with you and your family at this sad time. Stay strong. Best wishes.
  2. Waaaaaahhh! Stop it Slask! God I love that Chopard. GMTIIC for me today.........
  3. I was standing at the bar last night wearing my Skyland Avenger when one of the regulars, who is an expert on everything, says, "Nice watch. It's quite chunky isn't it?" I said, "Yes. It's one of my favourites." He said, "I collect watches. I must have over a hundred." He went on, "They're not all expensive. I normally buy one or two when I'm on holiday. I did buy an expensive one last year. Have you heard of Ingersoll?" I said I had. He asked if he could have a closer look at my Skyland, so I took it off and handed it to him. He looked it all over and said "Oh, it's an Air Force watch." I asked him what he meant and he said "I can't see it properly with these glasses, but I can see the wings on the dial." I said, "No, it's not. It's a Breitling." He replied, "Oh right, I haven't heard of them!"
  4. I've looked at G-Shocks for years, but never bought one. Think I might just go for it. Reckon I'll be a bit less worried about it when I'm cycling, as I've always been a bit concerned about how the vibration etc. might affect my reps.
  5. The can of worms is now fully open!
  6. That Chronofighter is a beauty! Wearing the 1911 today.........
  7. This was a pleasant, surprise, Christmas present from my big sis. The pillows are slightly small for the bigger diameter watches, but it's nice to have them all in one place. The drawer in the bottom is also handy for bracelets, links, etc.. Really happy with it to be honest. Might not be too long before I need another one!! The 2 gents Rollies are gens and my wife's Ladies DJ came from Perfect Clones, as did all the rest.
  8. The SeaWolf bracelet is also very well made, but may be just slightly sharp on the edges, whereas the Skyland bracelet doesn't seem to be like this. Possibly the polished finish, as opposed to brushed on the SW, has taken care of this. The edges could be smoothed off quite easily, but I've currently got it on rubber so it's not annoying me enough to get the Dremel out!!
  9. I love the feel of the bracelet on my Ebel 1911 Discovery. It was a little stiff at first, but after some "treatment" it's now silky smooth. Like the watch itself, the quality of the bracelet is also very high.
  10. Happy New Year from the West of Scotland to all the staff and members of RWG. Hoping everyone has a happy, healthy and prosperous 2012.
  11. Sincere warm, festive, wishes to all RWG members and your families. Happy holidays everyone!
  12. "I would hate to try to log In one day and there be no RWG" Ditto. Upgraded.
  13. The way forward here is research, research, research before using one of the Trusted Dealers. There's not many questions that haven't already been asked by someone else and there are even less questions that no-one has been able to answer! Welcome to the forum. Enjoy your stay.
  14. Obviously the people who decided this rep merited an award know sod all about replica watches! The factories producing our latest reps could wipe the floor with this Digital Time outfit.
  15. I lost a bracelet screw for my Ebel and he sent me 4, FOC! Can't say fairer than that!
  16. Very, very, nice. Love the uncluttered dial and the clean lines. Thanks for sharing.
