  1. The biggest difference to me is the thickness of the numbers on the dial. The Seawolf is a real tank on the wrist, but it feels solid and weighs a ton, which I like. It feels bigger than a 44mm PAM, but I believe it the thickness that makes the difference. Bought my V1 on the bracelet, but then bought the Ocean Diver strap as I like the black and yellow contrast. If you're like I was it'll get loads of wrist time once it arrives. Looking forward to the pics, Mike. Enjoy.
  2. Tried to use WU once and was treated like something they'd stood in, so I didn't bother and vowed I wouldn't use them again.
  3. Hello, welcome to RWG. Have a look in The Tag Heuer Area of the Brand Forums. You'll get loads of great info about which ones are good and which are not so good. All my reps have come from Joshua at Perfect Clones, although there are quite a few other Trusted Dealers. You can find them all listed in the Watches, Clothing and Accessories section. Best advice I can give you is to do as much research here before you pull the trigger. Enjoy your stay.
  4. I've been quite selective and have only bought a few reps, but all from Joshua. My Ebel 1911 Panda had a screw missing where the end link attaches to the case. I sent Joshua an email and he asked for a photo of the area in question. His reply was to say that replacement screw was in the post. A few days later I got a small package with the complete set of 4 screws FOC, I won't go anywhere else.
  5. I don't keep mine wound either, but I do keep my radio controlled G-Shock in the same watch box, so I can set the choice of the day to the exact time before I put it on.
  6. Excellent choice Al. You have very good taste. I wish you good health to wear it. Hope you have a fantastic day in August. Good luck and best wishes for the future.
  7. What about the classic Rolex Datejust? Lots of bracelet/bezel/dial options available. Choose what you want and the AD will get it put together for you.
  8. In case you've ever thought "What would happen if................?" Some answers might be here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=lUZ-e2SkeMI
  9. My wife and I were on holiday on the Isle of Man, for practice week of the TT races. While wandering through the town I went for a look at what an AD had on display. They are AD's for Rolex, Hublot, Breitling, TAG, Graham, Omega, Chopard and a couple of others, I think. Outside the shop, in the middle of the pedestrianised street was a small stand with various brochures for people to help themselves to. These are all really high quality, manufacturers publications and I picked up one each for Chopard, Hublot, TAG Heuer and Graham. The Isle of Man is a really cool place with a very low crime rate, hence the reason the shops can do this. If they tried that here in Scotland the whole stand would disappear, along with the brochures, in under 5 minutes!!
  10. Like the Content Spy. Good addition to the tools we can use here.
  11. Check out PT's breakdown review and go for the Noob. It's freakin' unbelievable!
  12. Well Slask, I've got the 1911 and the Noob 111 and they are both amazing, but for me the Ebel just has the edge.
  13. I think I know what you mean TeeJay. I've got a gen GMTIIC, a gen DJ with a grey tapestry dial, a black dial Skyland rep, a yellow dial Seawolf rep, an Ebel Discovery panda rep, a black dial PP Aquanaut rep, a PAM 111M rep, a Graham Chronofighter Tech Seal rep and a solar powered radio controlled G-Shock. But I don't have anything with a blue dial, or an orange bezel, or any TAG, or AP, or IWC, or Chopard................yet!!!
  14. Interesting, Mike. Some similar differences to what PureTime found on his breakdown review of the 111M H-factory version versus the Noob factory one and a gen. I let my watchmaker friend in Perth have a look at my Noob 111M and he couldn't believe the quality and the accuracy. Always interesting to see comparisons like this. Thanks for sharing.
  15. What about a Steelfish, I know the blue might be slightly off from the gen, but unless you've got a gen next to it, who's going to be able to tell?
  16. OMFG! That Liquid Metal with the orange bezel, in the first video, is just stunning! Here we go again!!
