  1. Just give us the # on your babe.
  2. Saturdays are my busiest days of the the week and work most. I love it when I take readings of sales and break it down to my pocket book. Having a middle day of the week off is nice because of less crowds everywhere, I do take Sundays off.
  3. If it were me I would put my money on one of these, Glashutte Sport evo big date at 43mm it wears nice. Can be had for around your investment used and definately much nicer build and finish, as a Rolex or Omega. And you get to admire this too..
  4. You don`t want to talk about Summer leaving here here in Seattle right now, it left a couple of weeks ago. Found this Savage strap I had and just put it on again, nothing like old school.
  5. Got the head in from another member with the relume done by K Parks. Also more correct caseback changed out by him. Added a V cg, did a quick polish and brush but need to flush the pin & finish again. Btw thanks again to V on the cgs, they do take it to another level. Then comes the strap, big ass deep ridge sharkie that puts Kw to shame. I know, I have two of his deep ridge. I call these sharks on steroids, 6mm thick and really look nice on subs. Got this one in from him last week, sadly no longer available. Overall very happy on how she looks. Some pics for you to enjoy. Really like how the small hash marks are lumed, but noticing in the pics the hour & minute hand are a bit lacking. Good news is not noticeable at all on the wrist.
  6. Nicest navitimer Imo, especially the silver dial. Came close myself TT a few months back, wish I had did also.
  7. This is a good decision, last night and past recently have shown a upturn that needs to be addressed. I tend to agree with Phoband as in limit should be lower for scrutiny.
  8. Your right, though I suspect they pony up abit more than we do on the whole. Had lunch with some fellows last month from the head office and one had on a IWC Ingie, showed it to me and when I flipped it over I confirmed it was a rep. Another had on a Pam 196 that was off the dealers rack. Later that day after all the business done we went out for beverages. After a couple of pints or so I was talking watches and these 2 shuffled over to chat. Later when it was just the 3 of us I asked if I could see the the Ingie again. Then I smiled and let him know the little known flaw on it that`s not fixable. He was like how did you know, I never even knew that was wrong. Looked over to his compadre from the wizards tower and said your next. Both were very surprised that I called them out so easily and grateful I hadn't done it during the visits that day. After that the discussion was all about what was available and how do you know what to look for in flaws. They were absolutely astounded in knowing there are forums dedicated to this hobby. End result, 2 new members here that are probably reading this sometime soon. Btw, how you doing Dutch.
  9. Outstanding and lovely to look at, one very special piece.
  10. Congrats my friend, you earned it and keep it coming. By the time I hit the mark, Rwg will be celebrating its Silver anniversary.
  11. Panomaticchrono caliper 95 in my sights. The ghost.
  12. RobbieG you have the dubious honor of that one, I can always use a new alias. As we speak I`m listening to a bootleg (underground) tape he made in the 100 motels film with the Mothers I just got that was not made public. An amazing composer, but at the time we just thought of him as a stoner like the rest of us.
  13. Posted this one up awhile back, here it is again if you missed it. Just picked up a nice old hammie for a screamin deal on here from Wus. Gotta be early and quick for a deal, this one helps you out. http://www.elitedealseeker.com/index.cgi?c...ord=&ageupp
  14. That`s what I was thinking, but easier if I can find in that size. I may just sterilize my 210 dial on it and stealth it also.
  15. I have the same case and have been undecided what dial to put in it, I agree on the phantom look. Been looking at this dial option also, just trying to find out if it`s available anywhere in a 45mm.
  16. Double ar is the norm on many gens. lanikai smp is a perfect example of how it brings out the dial. Btw, that is a very nice watch. I have several pieces with bulldogs ar on them. When he does a next run I`m in with a couple of gen crystals for his treatment. It`s that good and would recommend it to all. My pics of a recent purchase that has double ar not from the makers. Along with a few other treatments.
  17. Saw these on the bay not long ago. Price looked good but the seller did`nt, so I passed. Looking forward to your pics. Ebay link: http://cgi.ebay.com/Watches-Vostok_W0QQite...1QQcmdZViewItem
  18. Been looking at the Grey dial version on this one. Thanks for the great review and making my mind up on which dial I should go for.
  19. Go for it as it`s a beautiful piece and it`s what you want. What dial flavor are you looking at?
  20. Looks good, and that`s on a 24mm. Curious to see what a 26mm would weigh in at. Yah got mail.
  21. One of those I rarely wear and should more often.
  22. Heard from him last week, he`s around.
  23. Just when I had my mind made up on the grey dial, now I have to sort this out over another cold one. Nice pics and watch
  24. Pics look nice, and those Gen-Rep shots are a very nice comparison. The grey dial was my choice, that`s for helping me make the decision.
