I have the same platter, bought it new so that tells you my age. Still plays my old vinyl very well. A nicely put together unit along with some other Marantz componets I own have stood the test of time.

Nice review and great pics taka. Your right on the bezel color, all over the place depending on the light. I did have some issues on the clasp keeping shut. Ended up bending it at the top ever so slightly on one side and all is good now.

That one is definitely a work of art in progression. Looked nice before, now.... Wow. After seeing your original post last year I hunted down an old Dsn rad pvd case for a project skeleton. Fingers have been poised to T for his recent offering.

That looks nice FGD, have the same piece relumed awaiting the cg here in the States. Eagerly awaiting a couple of these new cgs coming in. The 252 does look really nice, and the review that much sweeter.

Most impressive watch is the Ingie. Beautiful & accurate from the wizards at the factory. (with a few mods) 1 watch I know, but this gets alot of compliments when out.

I have been looking at these watches for awhile now, (web only) and they appear to be nicely made and this model nice looking. The White Ensign line is what I`m looking at, and appreciate any comments and or hands on you may have on this manufacture. I believe it has an in house movement, available in orange, red & black dial. Stock pic posted of the model I`m looking at. 44.5mm 7 Day Power Reserve hand-wound movement, Arnold & Son Calibre A.294E Prices that can be found for these seem reasonable, that`s why I need your input in case I`m missing something on this or that.

That`s 2 in a row, totally unacceptable. Bruce, I just ordered a case from them also to pack them in. Last time I had every pocket in my coat 2 deep in watches. Looks like we`ll need a coat again this weekend, more of the same weather.

That is`nt lumed on the gen either. Just those numbers are white & reflecting the lume off the rest. Even the subdials underneath those hands show up pretty good. The rep has good lume and those numbers on mine do show the same, but of course not for long.

Palp and his posts overwhelmed me on how you could take these to another level. Truly instrumental in initiating a culture of modding the watches.

As said a new cg from V, then do a relume. The bezel is better on the latest from the dealers, but a bit loose just as the gen. Do a search on risti and some have sold them for just this reason. Just picked up my 3rd one of these used and previous owner had it relumed to the correct color on hands and dial. Made a huge difference and just awaiting on V for the finish.

Standard rep lume taka, hands are better than the dial.
