  1. I agree, a nice Simona (vintage hide for me) a Gsd (1st ch) and if you have a sub. Kw shark for it.
  2. Great job on that one, looks very nice and it does wear easy despite it`s size. Had one similar with HHs ar and what a difference, sold it awhile back. I preferred it on a gen rubber I got for it. Also on a Kw all black shark, it did look good on it believe it or not.
  3. Well worth the sell off, that one is a beauty. Only thing nicer it could be on my wrist. Congrats, and enjoy it my friend. Pizz
  4. Had one like that awhile back. Tried to file a little off the sides on the end link of the bracelet and the case, still no good. Since you just received it I would contact the dealer and ask for an exchange. Also since it WAS unattached that`s why it came that way, defective from the source.
  5. 750s are my favorite too. Hopefully one of those 750T Gmt Caribbeans in I have been drooling over soon.
  6. Here`s a link that has a chart half way down the page showing the difference in models.. http://www.doxa300t.com/1000t/sub1000t.htm
  7. That back looks nice, you may have sealed it for me.
  8. Very nice, been thinking about that one lately myself. Like the the closed caseback, hows the engraving on it?
  9. I did like it on the Oem honey croc, and it also wore nice on a rubber. Sold my modded 063 like a idiot. Hopefully soon I should have another put together with all the trimmings. Couple of shots.
  10. That`s how I would imagine his retirement.
  11. That color of dial is simply one of the nicest I have seen. That is a beauty, I`m very jealous. Been waiting for one of these too long to come up for sale, and always an hour late when they do.
  12. Butch Cassidy & the Sundance kid was, and is one of my all time great movies. Cassidy & Sundance had some memorable quotes: Butch Cassidy: Is that what you call giving cover? Sundance Kid: Is that what you call running? If I knew you were going to stroll... Butch Cassidy: How many are following us? Sundance Kid: All of 'em. Butch Cassidy: All of 'em? Newman, (aka Cassidy) Butch Cassidy: I have vision, and the rest of the world wears bifocals Butch Cassidy: If he'd just pay me what he's spending to make me stop robbing him, I'd stop robbing him. Butch Cassidy: You know, it could be worse. You get a lot more for your money in Bolivia, I checked on it. Butch Cassidy: You know, when I was a kid, I always thought I'd grow up to be a hero.
  13. Just got home and read the news myself. RIP for a true good guy and someone I looked up to growing up. Here`s my Newman dial.
  14. Trying to post a reply with those boobies shaking is hard. I`m there, on vacation this week and with all the damn sunshine and no rain fishing sucks right now on the rivers.
  15. Here`s a couple I do wear frequently. Old Hammie.
  16. Thanks for the great review. I feel even better with one on the way.
  17. A sad day for all Floyd lovers. His keyboard on Dark side of the Moon was magical.
  18. I`ll say it again, that is F**king amazing. Totally blown away on the work on it. Damn, you got some nice pieces.
  19. A1, great info and thanks for the undertaking.

And Grand Funk, the 3 early albums of theirs before they went mainstream really are good. 21. Those were some very special times indeed. Iron Butterfly could be the earliest heavy metal band, besides Hendrix they really expanded the instruments. Then again Jeff Beck did some abusing also. To throw up some lyrics here, this is from Hendrix live: Machine guns. Still one of the best live albums I enjoy and this song at over 11 minutes will take you to another place. It was about Vietnam. Machine gun Tearing my body all apart Machine gun, yeah Tearing my body all apart Evil man make me kill ya Evil man make you kill me Evil man make me kill you Even though were only families apart Well I pick up my axe and fight like a bomber (you know what I mean) Hey! and your bullets keep knocking me down Hey, I pick up my axe and fight like a bomber now Yeah, but you still blast me down to the ground The same way you shoot me down, baby Youll be going just the same Three times the pain, And your own self to blame Hey, machine gun I aint afraid of your mess no more, babe I aint afraid no more After a while, your, your cheap talk dont even cause me pain, So let your bullets fly like rain cause I know all the time youre wrong baby And youll be going just the same Yeah, machine gun Tearing my family apart Yeah, yeah, alright Tearing my family apart (dont you shoot him down) (hes bout to leave here) (dont you shoot him down) (hes got to stay here) (he aint going nowhere) (hes been shot down to the ground) (oh where he cant survive, no, no) Yeah, thats what we dont wanna hear anymore, alright? (no bullets) At least here, huh huh (no guns, no bombs) Huh huh (no nothin, just lets all live and live) (you know, instead of killin) May this be Love or just Confusion born out of Frustration wracked Feelings - of not Being able to Make true physical Love to the Universal gypsy queen True, free expressed music Darling guitar please Rest. amen
  22. Alright, I won`t pound again the virtues of the Go series with their beautiful inhouse movements that are a steal on the secondary market. You saw a Pano on bracelet that looked a little roughed up. Polish it man, the lucky buyer got a helluv a deal for that price. Just saw your looking for around 40mm or so. This one is a bit larger at 44 mm. Has a inhouse movement and very nicely made, 7 day reserve. Arnold & sons White Ensign. I have the orange dial which came in 250 pieces. Several models from them available on the secondary market at a nice price Imo. Wears like a 2007 or 06 Cousteau, in that the face is all dial along with a big clops at 6. Other options are red, yellow, or black dial which is the standard for it. Very much a visual treat on the wrist. Mine. And no, not a Unitas reworked. I thought so myself, until I saw one disassembled. UN, and Jlc would be my next targets. Add some bucks and get the Jlc compressor, magnificent...
  23. I too like snake on it. A few more options, can`t find one with a honey croc but looks very nice on one. Old Gs stitchless crazy horse. Smat black with copper.
