  1. I concur, looks like the real deal to me too.
  2. If there's anything that you are specifically after, try sending a link to the dealer and they can always try and source it for you
  3. Some great 3717's on here! DVS - thanks for that comparison, the rep is actually very very close! The main thing I notice is like the difference between the UPO and the gen PO - the dial texture. However, I think Im right in syaing that Stephane varnished his and it came out looking very gen like!
  4. Just a few shots with the other watches in my collection (minus the GO Senator)
  5. I just wore this thing outside, and the direct sunlight really brings this dial to life. It reminds me of the Submariner in that repsect. Inside it looks good, but outside it's a different story altogether. .....and there's no gold for Laz, but he is upto something
  6. Firstly, a massive thank you to Lazarini, from whom I bought this magnificent piece. I am going away on holiday tomorrow and he went out of his way to make sure it was delivered before then...so again thank you S, yet again you show what a first class member you are!! Secondly, this post is full of quick and dirty pictures because I have to pop out this afternoon. I will be doing a full and thorough review of the watch when I return from holiday next weekend, so I apologise for the photos! Thirdly, I am so impressed with the watch. The quality of the finish really is in a completely different class to what I have experienced before. Especially the bracelet which is very heavy and very smooth!
  7. Yep, certainly a Chinese special PO that one. Looks to be the cheaper asian 21j movement version....even at $299 that's a rip off!
  8. Welcome to the board Mike, and my thoughts reflect those of KB. I am in the UK and use Precioustime at the moment. His response time is fast, service is excellent, and being in the UK you have no customs worries, and should the unlikely event of needing to return the watch occur, it's easy to do.
  9. Hi there, Nice Omega! If you upgrade your membership you can sell it on here. You can also try www.tz-uk.com Im assuming by the time on your avatar settings that your in the EU? If not, try www.timezone.com as that is generally for the American market.
  10. hmmm afte seeing the pictures of that genuine.....aren;t the subdials meant to be whiter than the rest of the dial, because the replica has dark silver subdials by the looks of it

  12. Incredible shots! All of them capture the atmosphee of where you are really well! .....just a quick question......is that mother and daughter?
  13. Having worn the Explorer for a whole week, I am wearing a different Rolex today;
  14. The WM9 is notoriously difficult to source both new and used. Try placing a would like to buy (WTB) in the wanted section on the forum, you mayy get a few replies from that.

    My gens!

Il be lining up behind HaloArchive if that Pepsi ever goes on sale
  16. Great post Phoband, I remember reading about your encounter with the guy who wanted to switch with you. It's good to see such honesty from our members! If the price ever drops on the black I will buy it in a heartbeat, as it is the one AP I really like....we'll see, maybe at the end of the year the price might come down
  17. A beautiful collection for such a young gentleman!! Which is your favourite?
  18. Looking forward to the review, especially as this one is more competitively priced!
  19. Just placed an order for one. My third Rolex is on its way, Il do a full review when it arrives
  20. Welcome to the board. My sister and her boyfriend are out in Algarve at the moment, they said it is beautiful out there!
  21. I agree, over the last few years, I have become a real photoholic! Everywear I go, I seem to see inspiration for a nice picture, I'm a real nightmare to be with sometimes........ 'oohh sorry, one sec, I just want to take a quick picture' Well if she needs any convincing shoot me a PM and I can send a few more shots through to your email address. It would make an absolutely brilliant couples holiday, especially a newly wed one like yourselves. In the evenings some of the bays are just like out of a film set! The dog was so funny. I almost missed the shot as he decided to go back inside. As I was walking off he popped his head out again so I whipped the camera out John Wayne style.
  22. Wow, that is beautiful....as a Rolex noob, please excuse this next question......is that a gen?
  23. I know, I couldn't quite believe it when I was walking down the backstreets of Valletta and saw a Fiat 500 outside a coffee shop. It just looked so 'Italian' to me. There were a couple of older Fiat's around but what I loved about this particular setup was that the surroundings were all very traditional, yet the coffee shop and the Fiat were more modern, yet they didn't look out of place.
