  1. If you decide to countersink the hole and live with the overhang, you neet to apply water resistant glue (G-S Hypo cement is a good choice). vaccum
  2. You need to contact Palpatine. Cheers, vaccum

  5. As you may now there is a problem with the pannies cannon pin. Most reps come with a short cannon pin and you see the hands on an angle. This is done with a pourpose....to provide the clearance for the hour hand to pass over the sub seconds hand without jamming, also the minute hand needs to be taller (more than.45mm, from the top of the hand to bottom of the tube) or installed on an angle to pass over the hour hand. To fix it you need two things 1. A minute hand that is .45mm from top to bottom. 2. A taller cannon pin that will provide the height needed to install the hands perpendicular to the cannon pin. After getting this fixed, there is another issue with the cannon pin itself.......it is not flat at the top like the Gen cannon pin Here are some pics of what I did to get the cannon pin closer to the Gen Let's see the ETA canon pin out of the box...the top is not flat. Then I took the swiss file and slowly made it flat but rough Then I took it to my buffing/polishing station and made it look smooth and shiny ETA out of box vs. vaccum'd cannon pin I hope this answers some of the questions about the "Cannon Pin Fix" Cheers, vaccum

  7. What do you guys think of the crown position .3mm gap between crown and case Take a look at the black sub vaccum
  8. There is no difference if a size 10 or 11/64 is used the situation still the same....1/4 of the crown tube chamfer will be out of the case. vaccum
  9. I was aware of that exellent post. The issue is with the NON centered hole case. If you look at the pics you will see the big difference. Thanks, vaccum
  10. Hi guys. I received a couple of subs (black and LV) for the crown tube and Gen Crown mod. After removing the rep crown I noticed that the crown tube was over the edge of the case Here is the pic Then I removed the old Crown Tube to run the tap and countersink the hole and I saw this The hole is not centered on the case....so it is impossible to countersink the hole to fit the new crown tube chamfer Here is a pic with 3 different sub cases. The one on top is centered and the countersink was done no problem here...the next two are the ones with the "crown tube hole issue" I installed the new OEM crown tube and Gen crown on the black sub at the left and the LV is fitted with the rep crown and crown tube Now to the Rolex Experts here...there is a way to get the Gen Crown closer to the case? Thanks in advance for your comments and ideas! Cheers, vaccum
