Hi guys, I just saw the Mille Miglia GT XL Chrono Speed Black on another forum... a gen of course. Does anyone know if this one will be replicated? I don't like the other models of this line because i think they are too busy. But this one is really nice IMHO. What do you guys think of it?

I think you name the only possible good 5512/5513 case for a project... a vietnam case!! I don't know if there's a lot of difference between the viatnam casemakers, but the difference wiht the regular MBW is too big to ignore, although the price is quite steep! You can also check ND Trading and Vintagewatches MQ... like they say in the east... same, same, but a little different

@Dani ...If i understand Kruzer's answer correct it looks like all old case PAM196's can be used. It seems like he did the job several times, so i have no reason to doubt it won't work with mine. @Kostas ... looks like yours and mine are from the same period. Only mine has the really cool stickers on the movement No kiddin' but i think your is exactly the same, so i hope Kruzer will chime on and give a verdict. But from what i understand from it, it can be done... with a little work of course!

Hi Kruz, Thanx for the explanation! If i understand you correct you say that all old case PAM196's can be converted to 7753 version? I have one with a spacer without build-in chrono pushers externder i guess. Here is a picture i just took. So if there is an extra tunnel drilled to make room for the date adjustment pusher, this can be used for a 7753...?

Hi guys, I have an old case PAM196. I've had it for years and years and have worn it quite a lot. But i've not modded this one yet and that's why it doesn't get much wristtime anymore. I've read somewhere that not all old case PAM196's can handle a 7753 mvt. Could someone please tell me what to look for in the case, so i can determine if i can fit in a swiss 7753. It is not even for myself as i have too many projects going on right now, so i'm going to sell it anyway. But i need to be able to advise correctly when i'm offering it for sale Thanx in advance!

I'm sorry to hear yet another payment account got frozen. As admin you have a great team that does lots of work for you, T, but the headaches of the finances to keep the servers and bandwidth up and running all the time seems your main job. So first of all, thanx for all the trouble you go through Well of course i'm gonna donate for this magnificent place... a few $$ which may be a drop of water on a hot plate, but a lot of drops will help. Personally i'm against a mandatory payment or cancelling the non-payers, but i think you will always have some free riders who need to be informed once in a while. But for the members who really see this as their community to meet eachother, talk about a common passion and share knowledge... i can't imagine any of the active members not wanting to chip in and keep this forum running

sorry to say so, but Ziggy just completely service my 2836 with GMT from my PAM63... when i got it back the GMT sometimes refuses or runs not in sync... so even servicing by Ziggy didn't do the job. These movements suck. Period!
