Hi guys This is a watch that i am dreaming of for a long time and GP came out with a new version in Basel this year. It is such a well designed watch, love the dial layout with the powerreserve and the deep laying date... What do you guys think... love it? Hate it? Doesn't move you or a maybe? Tell me your ideas

Auqatimer is indeed a great option! If you look for a watch that also perfectly matches with a suit than the Ingenieur is an excellent choice

I'm in of course But would it be an extra if we could have the meeting in a city where one of us lives and could accomodate a part of the GTG, like Stephane did. I thought the time spent at Stephane's was the best part of the meeting to fully enjoy meeting the rest you you, nerds! No seriously... it was so cool to talk about watches, a meter further Taka is taking apart a watch, someone else pulls together 3 equal watches under a huge lupe to compare... that was awesome! So... does anyone live and is willing to accomodate such a GTG in one of those cities???

I think it's such a shame the rep is in steel and the gen only in titanium

I think it's a genuine dial... look at the "A"... never seen any rep with such good A's! Every detail seems to be spot on... well here's something for comparisson

There are absolutely no Meistersinger reps... i do know where to find a white dial and the single hand thoug, so if you would like to build your own franken-meistersinger... But for the costs i'd advise you to look out for a used one. They are not that expensive...

Patek shamelessly bid on their own watches when they're on auction... so sad, but they drove the price up big time for Pateks on auction these days...

I have no clue and it sounds very odd to me, but it looks like a ceremic pilot double chrono case to me

Well i already have one, but i don't think it's too expensive. The case is so much better than any rolex sub case. The crown sits in the case at the correct height, the finish is quite good, the rehaut is correct of 60's no date submariners (rolex and tudor)... so since we pay obscene amounts to get a watch modded and obscene amounts for replica watches... in that line i can justify a $500,- tudor replica. I would love to get a list of things that need to be done to the watch. And remember... tudor does not have a good and complete history of what case went where with which movement... there are so many different version...

If it's swiss or asian doesn't bother me at all... the asian versions are really good so what's the point in getting a more expensive swiss version. What does bother me is the cosmetic side to it... how big the word "officine panerai" is printed... or engraved on the plates. I hope a version with the correct size engraving is available ... and if they would also copy the correct case and crown... and dial for a PAM249 i am more than satisfied

That looks nice madmacs69! The case looks like a vietnam-case and it's a got a genuine vintage tudor mvt. Care to tell what the price range would be?
