  1. There are some members that have genuine FM dials in their reps, so these members could have an idea... unfortunately i don't have a clue...
  2. Nice collection, Sport Ice !! And i must say that box looks great as well
  3. Strangely enough we know about some watches ... and these get posponed all the time... while on the other hand they come up with new models nobody knew about! Or am i the only one being amazed by some of the new models...
  4. If you voted for just one date but are able to join the 17th as well, maybe it's good to post that here. I know i can
  5. Impressive work Marty! It looks mighty fine
  6. No worries... i'll play along
  7. You mean this one...
  8. YES!!!!
  9. For me the last weekend of january and the last two weekends of february would be great. Jolly... looking forward to meeting you guys and Les.... super... don't forget the marmelade @Stephane... no mate you're a great chef and a lousy host... the Thai food was excellent last time
  10. That regulateur is quite nice actually...if they make it it might be my first golden watch...
  11. Thanx UB7 !! This is what i was thinking as well... get the lite version and get a decent double AR coating from Chieftang or K2222. The Ice Bang really rocks... so now i'll have to sell something to buy this one. The more i look at the pixx the more i want it... a feeling i haven't had with a rep for a long time!
  12. So you say not to get the lite version? The dealer say it's the same as the expensive expect for the ceremic and double AR... Could you please tell me as i am trying to get enough $$$ together for an Ice Bang - Lite.
  13. Oops... too late... @Rob... i don't know what they pulled of but it runs very well now. There is also the caseback and presure-ring that might presure too much on the movement or rotor and that could aso influence the power reserve.
  14. Thanx again for your kind words... i must add that these pictures don't do the watch justice. It is such an awesome piece! @Stephane... this afternoon the package will finally go to the PO @Les... yep... it would be great to have a few brewskies together again and maybe finish with a decent single malt and a cigar.

    HB

Indeed Oliver. I saw the newest line of HB a few months ago and they also use the same case... ok a few mm bigger and no chrono this time, but it still is the very same design. When mr. Biver bought Hublot is was near death... he 'made' the brand within a few years and i must admit that i admire what he did. I'm not such a big HBB fan (although the Ice Bang has my interest) but the mere accomplishment is quite amazing. On the pictures shown at TZ you can see some cheaper HBB copies... luckily not our A7750 driven copies!
  16. Sorry, but i can't help you with side by side pixx... just these two seperate pixx. Although the sizes of both the Panerai Luminor Marina (44mm) is the same as the IWC Cousteau Divers (also 44mm) i had the feeling that the Panerai wears slightly smaller. This could well be because of the rubber strap on the CD and maybe the thicker caseback. But both watches feel very comfortable around the wrist. I don't have the 'normal' IWC Aquatimer chrono and the IWC pilot chrono hasn't arrived yet so i can't say much about those, except they are a size smaller.
  17. I think (but i'm not sure) that the problem isn't the movement, weather it's the older 7750 or the newer 28.8 7750. The problem is in the module that makes the second run at 6. I also think this problem is for all the IWC watches with running seconds at 6 like the Portuguese chrono and this Ingenieur chrono. Maybe i was lucky... or they finally cleaned it. I think Ziggy made some posts about this movement/module.
  18. From the pixx of the rep i'd assume it'll be a cheap replica... quartz movement, different material...
  19. Excellent review Pix!! Thanx ... but i'm afraid your review and Lanikai's pictures will make my wishlist longer... again! IMHO this is the poor man's AP ROO... perfectly affordable for most of us... if we give up all or replica-babies. Very nice watch and very nice replica. Thanx
  20. Cool... probably the only country where Rolex will ctually seel shitloads of the ugly daytonas and where you will even see them being worn... no country on this planet with so much money and so much tacky-taste
  21. Thanx guys for you nice words  @maxmsu... i have no idea what they fixed. One things made me kind of nervous... when i put the watch together again it had a lower power reserve again... fortunately a friend told me to take the extra ring out of the caseback as this might rub against the rotor. He was right... i removed the ring and power reserve is good again.
  22. The words 'American' and 'coffee' in one sentence don't match. Even in the Netherlands where coffee is not the same as in Italy or France, they call American coffee ... ditch water Kiddin'... if you wanna know about espresso i can be of advice... the other stuff named coffee is not my field of expertise.
  23. I think you're right Doc savage, but the Hublot gang is doing quite well in giving rumour to the quality copies made in China. The normal song the swiss watch industry sings, is that replicas are cheap crappy watches... Hublot is the first to start a personal vendetta against replica watches. Of course Rolex has some laywer firms on the case, but nothing as good as publicity mr. Biver must be thinking... I'm not really sure where this will lead us...
  24. Sounds like a plan, Andy! Block booking like Les suggested sounds fine and Brussels seems to be voted for the most. And indeed a saturday will be best for me and probably everyone else who works during week days.
  25. i assume it's an asian 28bph 7750... same like i am getting soon.
