  1. I do like the chrono's... even the mellow yellow looks awesome to me :w00t:
  2. I just see this post the first time... excellent comparrison Angus!!
  3. It looks like the list of attendees is growing every day... guys... common'... a room in a hotel will be aorund 60 euro, traintrip an extra 30-40 euro... so the costs are minimal... and getting away from the family once in a while must sound good to ya all
  4. If this continues you should buy a bigger house! No kiddin' Stephane... let's make this into a standing reception. Share a glass and mingle, walk around. It's also easier to talk to other people than we you're sitting down. A few bottles of bubbles and the rest...
  5. Cool
  6. Indeed... distance should be more than shown on these replicas. Panerai uses a nice distance between the 6 and the "L SWISS MADE L".
  7. I have been looking through numerous posts... but does the Ferrari replica have the same bajonet closing for the crown? The genuine Ferrari does not have a regular screw down crown, but you need to position the luminous dot on the crown forward and close it with only 1/4 turn... the sales person called it a bajonet closing. Who has one and could comment on this??
  8. Thanx UB7 for posting so quickly! Oh man... this one just made it to the top of my wishlist! An excellent balance between the HBB 'presence' and a distinct subtleness.
  9. Is Brussels that expensive???? Good to know you're up to date with the latest rates Great  Please sent a PM to Andy, so you can erecive the latest info.
  10. For around 50 euro/hour you have plenty of choice in Brussels Nord
  11. Nice dive watch collection!
  12. This will enable us to ask for some extra services when we go to bed
  13. Super!! Really looking forward to this guys
  14. I guess two options are possible... 1. meet somewhere early in the afternoon, have a coffee, visit some AD's, have a beer, good out for dinner and for those who stay... really go out... spent the night in a hotel and leave the next morning with a hangover 2. meet friday night late, check in hotel, go out and get drunk, next morning visit AD's untill we have a long lunch together, after that split up again... Personally i have no preference  How about you guys?
  15. Mister Lanikai... you made a great review once again  The watch looks quite impressive and like you describe it ... it migth cost me again. No kiddin' but i'm impressed by the double AR and the lume. Unlike with the older cheap non chrono i had this time they also copied the clasp correct... altogether it looks mighty fine!!
  16. PS. could someone who knows tell me how accurate the PAM186 Arktos is? Maybe ... if they don't produce a decent blue dial PAM252 i could buy that one...
  17. Again... a PAM252 bump. Let's hope they will make it perfect with a BLUE dial this time
  18. I will wait untill i see the first review and get a better idea about the dial... gloss or no gloss... that's the question  If not i'll stick to my DSN PAM082 with OEM dark blue gator strap... awesome!
  19. No clue to be honest... and i traded it in the mean time for something else. Now i am waiting for a used one to pop up in the sales section because i desperately want one again!
  20. Indeed... and we want it soon!!!!!!
  21. Hi Angus, I started this post and i started after seeing a so-called MBW Rolex 1665 on the website of Joshua or Andrew... i really can't remember who's website it was. That's why i posted "MBW from cartel" and went on about the details of the vinatge rolex 1665. In no way did i mean you to be part of the cartell. I know you're no part of it. It was later that i saw such a watch in your collector section. I also didn't mean to say anything about the AP ROO or the PP Nautilus. Sorry if it caused you trouble. I just wanted to protect buyers from buying a different 1665 than what they believe is an MBW 1665.
  22. Ouch... have you seen the difference in the 5-minute markers next to the numbers??? These are much bigger on the gen... so this one is a no go for me. Unfortunately the "l swiss made l" is a no go for both other new watches... darn
  23. Yep ... 100 pieces indeed. I like they copied this but from the pixx i can see two things that would prevent me from buying at this time. The "L SWISS MADE L" is too close to the 6 ... and the blue dial is plain blue... not like Davidson's PAM82 which has a magnificent blue dial that changes color when you look at different angles.... and that's how the PAM229 dial should be as well. Are there more flaws i am missing?
  24. I used to own the Plonuer C Type rep... it had a cheap asian mvt and was actually a quite decent watch for the price. The downside for me was that the case was 'old style' ... looked like cheaper metal with a steel coating or something... not stainless steel all the way through. The crystal was no sapphire. The good thing was that the crown, tube, bezel construction, caseback... it all felt super solid! The dial print was excellent... so all together it was a very decent rep. Looking forward to the review of the C type chrono, Lanikai
  25. I also had a Hamilton Khaki GMT with 3 timezones, got it on the Bay for around $300... and it is a very good watch for an absolute rediculous low price! Other options... Rolex GMT-II or Explorer II, Seamaster GMT, or if you like them a Ferrari GMT model... plenty choice
