I have had many Avengers and have not seen any that looked quite like that. Yes It's true...the sides are not perfectly smooth all the time. I have used my Cape cods to remedy the issue... for the most part anyway. But If thats not a smuge.. I don't think you are going to be very happy. Good luck. Mike
