  1. So let me get this right, your comparing changing your tire on the side of the road to removing a caseback? ok Removing your tire on the side of the road could be a life or death situation. As far as removing a caseback with scissors?? I will not spend anymore time trying to explane this simple method of removing a caseback to someone who just dosent get It. It seems like your having a difficult time understanding the intention of my post, so I will just say this. The scissors were meant to be used as a "alternative". I have used the scissors and I know others that have used them and there has not been any Issues that I know of, none. It go's without saying that having the proper tools Is always the best senario. But there are other things we can use that will allow us to performe a varrity of procedures,Improvisation. As far as recommending the scissors? I dont know your talking about. I suggested the scissors If the sticky ball dosent work. If I dont suggest them how will the OP know about them??? It's also a good Idea to know what your talking about before you crap on someone else's post. I will return the favor someday.
  2. Yes deniz the chrome stick markers are shiny as per gen. They have a mirror like finish, you can actually see your reflection. I did a side by side comparison last night. The stick marker dial Is not perfect but ohhhhhh so very close. One of the best replicated dials that I have ever seen. I took It to my watch repair person to adjust the clasp. The rubber has to be cut on the ocean racer strap, not my favorite but still very nice. The strap It self Is beautiful, very gen like. But the clasp Is kind of a pain In the but, It was on mine anyway. He works on quite a few Breitlings. He said that "It Is scarry how good these things are", I would have to agree.
  3. That girl Is kinda freaky... the girls a super freak. From her head down to her toe nails..... the girls a super freak. I have to admitt that these are some of the fugliest watches that I have seen In a long long time.
  4. +1 try Ofrie.com for crown&tube button gaskets.good luck
  5. I think that there referring to the deployant that go's on a leather strap, different design. I found cutting the strap was a PITA on the rubber deployant. Mike
  6. Beautiful SA's, thanks for sharing.
  7. I dont think you would have a problem wearing a SA Deniz. It's really about perception. I have a 7 1/2 In wrist and they are very comforable. When I first arrived here I thought a 44mm Pam would be to big. The biggest watch that I had pryor was a 42mm and I thought that was big. I have the white SA on the ocean racer strap, It makes the watch much more comforable on the wrist. The rubber or leather will take a lot of weight out of the watch. I hope you get one Deniz, I have two(blue dial) and they are some of the best replicas available. I was going to put a gen dial on the SA but the stickmarker white dial Is so close to gen I might just leave it alone. The AR and lume Is also very good for a rep. Mike
  8. Well I have used scissors several times as so have others that I know. I have never heard anyone stabing themselves. It's called being careful. If you dont feel comfortable using them, then dont. But It does work and It works well. It's always a good Idea to try something before you knock It. About six months ago my battery died on my Sector quartz. Tried as I might I could not remove the case back with a sticky ball. It had been many years since the caseback had been removed. I saw this video on youtube on removing a caseback with scissors. So I decided to give It a try. It worked well, no stabing and no scratches to the caseback. If you have concerns of stabing yourself then you can pick up a cheep pair of childerns safty scissors for about $1.00. This Is meant to be done when a sticky ball dosent work. It was also nice not having to remove all that sticky glue that a sticky ball can sometimes leave behind.
  9. No problem my man, If you have anymore questions, feel free. (ps) I have never seen a quartz version. I will take a look around and see what I find. If I find anything of Interest as far as the quartz go's, I will let you know. Mike
  10. Good job, If when In doubt, ask questions. I could have saved myself a lot of misery if I would have just followed my own advice at times
  11. It looks like the same old crap to me. Why bother honestly, you have the very best dealers right here at RWG Mike
  12. I guess these 21j GMT are going for around $125-150 new, about $100.00 used. Sorry to hear about how much you paid, I do hope that you did not buy It from anyone here. Mike
  13. I returned your message but I guess you did not get It because I never heard anything In return. It's a great rep. It's as close to the gen as you can get Imho without being 100% perfect. The gens dw Is slightly recessed so the sunken dw on the rep Is a non issue. All I can say is that It's the nicest replication that I have ever seen, top notch. I purchased mine from Tony@Asian 7750.
  14. My first major Fu up here at RWG was dealing with this evil sob of a bracelet I have a ss bracelet on my PO now and thats where It will remain until it rots off.
  15. Sticky balls is what i get when I spill my soda I have also used a pair of scissors. Just be careful and steady. Just line up the blades of the scissors with the Indents of the case back, then gently turn. I would try the sticky balls first, good luck
  16. Good stuff my friend, thanks for sharing Mike

  19. Actually I just wanted to see a good game. I have a lot of family that I visit In WV and I live as you know In NC, So I was kinda on the fence. Very rare set of circumstances. I give you credit to being so open minded about the game. Most people I know cant do that, Including me. Mike
  20. I have purchased most of my reps from Tony@7750, great guy.
  21. Well I guess If you want to buy and sell reps you must not be new to the hobby. So I guess I will just welcome you to RWG, welcome Mike
