There sure is Kent look at the post directly above yours
P.S - Do not strip that Heuer for the movement or I will personally send a shrink around to have a chat to you.
This will be my third Gen watch purchased through RWG and it was a pleasure dealing with this member.
The first thing that struck me about the Tudor was how light the watch is and also how tinny the folded link bracelet seemed.
Having worn this for the last few days I can now appreciated the size and weight of this as it is a sports watch and designed to sit securely on the wrist but not be a hindrance due to its weight.
The size just feels right now and is just an amazing watch, Especially the raised plexi with the magnified date that seems like you can see all the way to china through.
It will be off to either Rolex or a local service person in the coming weeks to get a full service and then will be straight back on the wrist for a long time to come.
As always thanks to this forum and its amazing membership.
I'm a supporting member of Repgeek but with all of the recent bans and especially the deleted and edited posts over there I won't be for much longer.
This forum is my home and has always been my main watch forum and the place I respect the most.
Thanks again T for another informative and eye opening post.
I have an incoming Tudor 76100 sub which has not been serviced and I'm thinking of dropping it off at the nearest service centre for this.
I understand that the RSC will charge me an arm or two for the servicing and I would be firm with them about not replacing any parts or polishing the case.
What are your thoughts on this...Is the RSC that much better than a normal watch person.?
Why would Flav just lume over the top of the existing bad lumedots as they still look terrible IMHO.
Surely the better approach would be to pick them off and start fresh.
If you have a datewheel then go for the original V2 with the incorrect datefont as these have better bracelets.
If you don't have the datewheel then grab a newer V3 with the updated wheel.
Here's my franken with a gen dial, Lello datewheel, Serviced movement,New double AR and a V2 bracelet;
D, The last thing you want to do is change the CG as it is a Little Hero and one of the best out there for a PreV project.
If it is really bothering you maybe you can use just a lever from another CG that has a longer end on it.?
Having said that it has been modified by The Zigmeister and the pin is tighter than a nuns so it might be a pain in the posterior to do mate.
D that was probably my finest watch and a tough decision to let it go.
Wear it well my friend as it is very special indeed.
P.S Remember I'm first on the list if you ever sell it
It's amazing how a day of reading and searching on here can get a person up to speed...I'm now considered slightly dangerous when it comes to Rolex's LOL
Thanks for everyone's help, Especially Kruzer who has been gracious in answering a few PM's from me.
