Ask Vac about relume cost. I'm thinking close to $200. Not sure about gen dial costs but it should easily cost more than the watch. Dont always believe the photos on their websites. Vac usually has a long wait list.

CHS - Correct Hand Stack ICHS - Incorrect Hand Stack Trevor and prowatch are pricey. Do the research. Like someone said before, you need to find a case that will accept a gen dial.

Two ?'s 1. Why trevor? 2. I'd go for the ICHS. Someone chime in here but I believe the CHS movts are prone to problems. If you do a little research about the GMT and Exp. II a lot of members have issues with the CHS.

I'd like to buff the polished bezel to a more brushed look like the gen 2 without ruining the color of the numerals. Can anyone recommend a product or method? My topic is about a bezel and about a specific brand, Faux Pas to post in General and Omega forums?

While i agree in principle with you, heard the dame about a watch in the shower and hot tub. Steam and humidity and air pressure would be greater in a shower like environment. Cooking notso much. Lucky bastard. I shipped a faulty strap back to PT on the 5th of Nov. and it has yet to arrive. I emailed PT and he forgot all about it! It's all good though, giving it another week.

Finding a watchmaker (Noob question) I guess the best way is to walk into a place of business and say "I collect reps, I'd like to know if you will work with me on modding some of my pieces?Trust is another issue I guess for me. Everyone talks about the need for a Rolex caseback opener, I have used a stick ball and a cheap generic opener and have never had a problem. Am I damaging something by not using a Rolex caseback opener? I never plan on getting any of my reps near water and if I wanted some sort of water resistance I would have it done by a fora repairman.
