  1. First thing first in Thailand.. if ya know what I mean.. looking forward to your pics.. and have a great time.. AC/Lani
  2. Welcome !! Doesn't matter in Taipei or anywhere else in the world, the rep Daytona .. even the top priced on is a crap shoot .. the modded movement is too problematic.. unless you get very, very lucky.. don't expect the movement to last very long.. Even the upgraded movement has proven problematic.. I would suggest another rep.. and any of the dealers listed in the watch section would be good.. all the listed dealers are trusted and proven.. Check out the Rolex section for reviews and the best reps .. AC/Lani
  3. Let me know what you need R.. I'm ordering some for mine also..
  4. Wow..they dropped that one way low.. The good news is the genuine dial will fit
  5. All said and done the rep is not bad.. given it is a replication the dial looks good.. needless to say congrats on your gen is an understatement.. thank you for taking the time for this rare treat !!! AC/Lani
  6. Genesis; Revelation; Seventh Angel Interesting to note the Bible is riddled with the number 7.. 7 defines perfection and completion in Hawaiian spirituality.. 7 islands to the chain 7 colours of the rainbow 7 amakua's...... Lucky 7
  7. Congrats !! Ain't she the most comfortable outta the whole HBB line, I to love the strap.. quite different fel from previous HBB's.. different maker .. and the rotor is as quiet as cotton falling to the ground.. .. no vibrations.. great feel !! But .. I must say your backdrop makes the pic look great.. the contrast is awesome !! Live Strong and Wear it Well AC/Lani
  8. Thanks ma brotha !!! But the OEM specs that Aaron made put it at 18mm .. same size as the IWC buckles.. thank you for the thought though.. means a lot
  9. Not only great taste in watches but a square cut diamond also.. and by the looks of the lack of colour in the stone ahigh quality one at that . square cuts are my fave..but the grade has to be high since it will show every flaw easily.,. Thumbs up for Mrs Ubi AC/L
  10. I wonder how it will look with a HKtan gator I've been saving.. just gotta order the Omega buckle form Ofrei..
  11. I have screws .. not sure if I have a spare tab .. it always helps to use the blue Loctite on the screws.. it secures them in place... but can still be removed.
  12. Abbey Road
  13. Maybe a heads up .. if they can use the same source for AR as the UN's or Breitlings.. the BP's AR wasn't the best outta the box.. all we can do mention it..
  14. So you can read periodicals .. the monthly server cost .. seems like more gimmick tech than anything else.. redundancy
  15. I have a lite version that has not been worn.. like the one Plai has posted ..it has no AR and an Asian movement.. fyi
  16. Your continued support is very much appreciated by all in this community J Thank you for supporting your Community. AC/Lani

  20. Ditto Tech.. I wanted a 42 to go along with my 45 but not unless I can franken it..
  21. Well, all gen forum members are not angels either.. they usually sell questionable items on ebay, whist selling the unquestioning items on the gen forums.. I'm not talking about dials.. but parts such as tension rings.. personally I never had the desire outside of my Doxa's (on the Orange forum) to post pics of any of my gens on TZ.. I can't find a purpose.. I know of a member here who owns a very sought after genuine vintage Rolex.. but never posted it anywhere.. he has shared pics with a few of us.. and that was much appreciated..no doubt members on TZ would raved about the watch.... respect to that member and I understand his low key approach and humbleness in his passion for watches.. Like some art collectors it is for his joy and fulfillment to own it.. but I digress.. some give counterfeiting a bad name
  22. I like my 45's .. my black franken on divers does not really wear big.. BUT .. the 42 would be a really perfect size on ss bracelet.. As far as getting it perfect.. we all know what a crap shoot that can be .. so many of the parts are outsourced and then if just one is not right, like say the bezel insert, or any other of the many "cosmetic" parts.... waiting for the next version.. ad infinitum.... I'm not trying to be pessimistic.. just realistic in my expectations.. What I'm really hoping for is that the case set is spot on..as a gen dial is almost a definite go.. an if the AR is done by the same source as the UN's or Breitlings.. it should have the blue hue of the genuine.. but I'll probably send it to.. guess who.. As always we'll have to wait and see not only the final pics .. but the final product in hand..3 months can be more realistically 4 or 5.. but one can hope..

  24. If your into the 42 mm PO, and cannot find a 4th generation PO, that is the only one that will accept the genuine parts for modding.. ther will finally be a version that will be made from a genuine PO.. The release date is scheduled to be done in 3 months.. but we all know how the release dates go.. it is being made by the makers of the Big Pilot watches and the existing PO lint will be dropped.. as all the previous PO's have been made from pics and have been hit and miss. the genuine model has been turned into the maker.. to alleviate dealers getting bombarded by emails.. please note that it is being made and any updates will be posted here.. So if you have been hunting in frustration for a 4th generation PO.. your grail watch is being replicated .. Good news for sure for 42 mm PO fans the genuine AC/Lani
  25. Mr mg..I send mine back for movement issues.. defects.. I've learned to take out the movement/dial.. so that relieves the burden of sending it back for crooked markers... or dust on the dial ..if I plan to swap a Eta 7750 in the watch.. no sense of me sending it back.. or if I decide "before" hand that it will be a much used watch and send it to Ziggy for servicing.. there are a lot of variables.. but Joshua is really good about repairing and servicing the defects.. and although I pay for the freight.. he always takes care of it later in some shape or form.. I'm sending 2 back now for repair.. not a big issue with either myself nor Josh
