Just thought i would throw this out ... anyone know where or who would have available thicker crowns for the 036 TI ... the 177 i got a while back has the embarrrrraaassingly thinnn crown.... i am seeking the thicker 2 mm would be fine 2.1 mm would be outstanding .. but beggars cannot be choosers so i will take anything that is thicker than what i have on thank you Lanikai

Nice ..... the only flaw I think would be the sleeve on the pusher ... but they only made 200 in the Gen .. so the chance that anyone really knows this watch is slim ... got one myself.. LIVE STRONG AND WEAR IT WELL

BOB's straps tend to run long ... hope christin had a smalll size for you... ostrich is OK with customs but if you order reptile from him .. it will be siezed so be forwarned .... no cities certificate .. and they will open parcels from Germanyunless they are extremely busy ....

Delta ... you change my mind again... man .... i am easy but this is definately not cheap ... i have been going back and forth on straps for my fiddy .. i should have ordered the MP in papaya brown in a 26/26 i won't give up my alligator on the 089 though i really like that look.. i'll keep the gator for dress occasions on my fiddy OK back to the drawing board ... i agree darker colours do look better on the fiddy i'll give you 02 cents if I can finally find a strap that i won't budge over

the question is.... is bigger better ..... ??? I ordered a watch boys alligator strap a while back and got a hide that was low end ... Kurt exchanged it and ... yes it was the Bomb....!!! wide sections and thicker good quality alligator ... Watch boys is on ebay .... and the dark brown to me is the best .. i did not like the white stiching so i went to the craft store (got wierd looks from the ladies, with all my tats .... and pony tail) but anyway .. i got fabric marker .. first applied black to the thread.. then the next day applied dark brown ... the stiching is now the same colour as the alligator brings out the hide and does not take away from the sections..... i tried a lot of different straps but the alligator to me can go with anything t-shirt or dress... geezzz i can't believe i am actually writing like this (fashion) on a forum .. don't tell the boyz at the Gym he has your size 115/75...26/26 or 26/24... and get the black or dark brown .. chocolate is not so good looking in person ... don't worry about the cites certificate.. as i had one from BOB confinscated.. Kurt is safe... they may have it sent from NY or something to get away without the cites paper work.. cause he is based in Canada 99 usd worth it VB..

thank you for passing that on ... sssurfer and you were correct.. sorry i thought Davidsens was double sided AR ... yes metal polish works the best that's what mag polish is .. you can also get steel wool in different grits.. the only thing with uing a dremel would be to control the evenness of the strokes .. if you do end up eith fine sctaches the polishing wheel with fine grade metal polish or rouge will remove it (dremel) thanks again ....

i have a number of watches with both Sapphire, and mineral glass ... it really depends on how aware you are of your watch... sapphire will scatch if abused .. anything will ... i would not worry about it ... genuine Panerai crystal (sapphire.. ) scratch... LIVE STRONG AND WEAR IT WELL ...

my apologies ... i got the regatta model of the flyback, and the watch i saw at TIME WERKS was a regatta version ... that is the upgraded model Josh and Andrew have .. but funny i could not find it on the official Panerai site.. nor could I find the 212 .... and interesting .. the checkered 199 submersible is made in titanium, the plain black dial is on the steel case... so the upgraded 199 with somewhat correct mag and font should be a plain black dial.....thought something was different ... met a guy that had the genuine 199 regatta and his was titanium.... oh well

If everyone is refering to the flyback .... Josh and Andrew have the updated version... i looked at the genuine at Time Werks ... and as far as I could tell .... that's just it I couldn't tell ... PN25301 Andrew has it as the new upgraded model ... Joshua just has it as the 253 .. blue needle... really nice apple green lume out of the box.. seems like the makers are slowly catching on to the importance of colour and glow. i got one last year from EL ( i won't go there),... and got one a few months ago Josh and Andrew have the same piece .. sssurfer can judge it better than i can .... check it out on Joshua's site .. or Andrew's OK ... edit..... just checked out the models .. you are going for the more expensive Lemania ??? 598 usd .. but the 253 is correct case back .. again sssurfer would judge better ... I have (knock on wood) not had problems with my 253 and you will like the lume and the blue (correct) needle on the 253 .. if you can live with the movement 253 is the latest upgrade to this watch ... this has genuine sapphire with very very light AR ... just like the gen. 7750 .. but the lume and the blue dial loookkss gooooood.

Exactly sssurfer ..... most polishes contain petrolium by-products.. what is different about the aluminium paste is it resembles the jewelers polish in that it is for a metal that is already highly polished ... that process means sanding the aluminum down in different grades of grit in the paper ... same thing with Stainless Steel ... you would think the makers would not go so over board in their AR's ... it is really nice when in sunlight but far from looking like the genuine crystal And again it is not poor English because I do not speak Italian.. or German ... still working on American English... not the Queens English, so everyone outside of USA is one up on us ..

OOPsss .... wrong choice of semantics on my part ... I interpreted the removal of the crystal as: removing it to remove the AR coating on a double sided AR coated sapphire .. on the inside... i was saying it would be better to remove it from the outside of the crystal .. leave the coating on the inside alone Yes the polished used to polish .. billet aluminum .. found a lot on Harley customs ... it was a nice suprise to see the scratch come out of the crystal ... it had the Ar coating on it and that's how i found out you could use that to remove part of the coating .. it was a pretty deep scratch.... on the metal, if you want to get out fine scratches a undershirt and the mag polish will do ... deep scratches .. you can use Jewelers rouge with a dremel.. then use the mag polish with a dremel and finish with a soft cloth and the mag polish .. 3 steps ..like with Gold polishing

would not advise you to remove ar from inside of crystal ... Do it from the outside .... check with the tech guy's REGARDING CRYSTAL PRESSURE ....( I used a vise grip pliers on my fiddy ... could not find a case back opener...LOL) sssurfer ..watchmeister ... delta ... flav.. ziggy ... chieftang.. et all ...LIVE STRONG WEAR IT WELL
