I got one with ETA 2836-2 and the correct handstack from Andrew. It also sets the normal time with the red GMT hand and the hour hand is set seperately in jumps just like the genuine. It wins 2 sec per 24hours on the atomic clock. I had it open two days ago and it is definitely an ETA. It's a superwatch... It has, however, the SS hourmarkers I would really like to change to black. Further the numbers on the bezel are a bit to far to the edge... It needs to be 1mm inside the outer ring. But a friend of mine with the real one couldn't see it was a rep while he was wearing his gen himself and kept it next to mine!!! Anyway here is a pic Left is my rep Right a gen. I think they don't want to spell it right because people might go to serious competition. IMHO this is better so our reps stay more exclusive! I have a Sub from idealwatches and it's good but it was way to expensive (600 eur). Bezelpearl is wrong and logo's are silver instead of white but rehaut is great and CG's also. They keep their little world protected by smart 'independent reviews' ... suckers. At least they do send some stuff... thats why people keep returning and don't look further... Smart...but Sjite

Looks like the ones that idealwatches offer. I know this is a 'curse in the church' here but they do deliver and the prices are indeed way to steep. watchmaker9.tv looks like the same catagory/ watches. They are decent watches but way overpriced. I know because I own one. And yes they have solid midlinks, thick sapphire crystal and are waterproof as far as swimming (what I did) is concerned. I guess they are nice watches....oh did I mention they are way to expensive

Somehow I did expect it to be like this. I think many products of European distinction are eventually preparred and produced for the main part in low labour cost countries. Just to be able to compete worldwide. (f.e. as do companies like Grundig and Philips electronics etc etc.) The fact is that they are designed in the countries of origin. The production process and items have been designed in the origin countries and the actual production takes place in the Asian countries. No sweat as long as there is a official stamp of approval on them. I don't known if our Swiss Replicas have that. Fact is that the three I own run great. No reason to sweat....yet.

Does anybody know what a good storagebox for 10-20 watches will cost and what brands there are (and where to get them). My reps and gens are all thrown on a pile now and that starts hurting.... It doesn't have to be fancy but they need to be in seperate spaces not to scratch eachother...

What a dumb d*ckhead action Sam268. Don't enter the game...if you can't manage to cope with insecurities. This way you f*ck up for all of us.... for a 5 pound TOOOOLLLLLL!!!! I am a noob too but djeeez I understand that dealers do their best (if not they will be burned to the ground too on this forum) but we need to think also. There are many instances inbetween the dealer and the delivery that have BUT ONE TASK. Intercept 'suspicious' goods. So a few tips - Never mention replicas or brand names in formal communications with dealers - Don't pull the fire alarm if you have not gotten the situation clear with your dealer first and had a lot of patience (I am talking months here).

Andrew (and others like Josh, PT, TTK etc), Let's not forget that there are a lot people on the board here that really appreciate and admire what you bring us. You let everyone of us feel special with a special good quality watch. Many of us that NOT care for a wrong alignment of an m and m or a 1mm offset on a bezel, or a wrong datefont. It is good to know that the differences are in just those very tiny things and not in the great lines. 99,5% of the public will never know this and so what if they do. Don't try to pose with a fake as if it is real. Of course it is a sport to get a very accurate watch...but 95% accuracy for the majority group will do perfectly (especially when the price is 95% less than that of an original). I choose to own more watches that are good timekeepers (swiss ETA) and have pretty appearances. I myself think that if a watch has the general beauty of a gen watch it gives me that special feeling (of something I could probably never afford). You delivered this watch for me two weeks back and I love it. On this forum they say the hour markers should be black and they are SS. I don't care. It looks very beautiful. I look at it way to often and wear it every day... Keeps perfect time. Thanks again.... it made me order two more with you (IWC FA JONES decorated back and the Vintage ExplorerII) Keep up the great work but do not take to much risk.

Unlucky you. I think the most important part is that you write something like 'watch for repair' on the form. Otherwise you could bring the dealer in trouble... see Eddies post. The dealer should however pay for the mail if he is a gentleman and wants good critics on sites like this. i am sure all will work out...

Funny... I have good experience with Andrew. I have a White Explorer2 which arrived 10 days after ordering. It is as good as the whites get. There is no better one around. In fact a friend of mine complimented me on this watch the other day and he owns the genuine. After the compliment I told him it was fake and we were comparing for 15 minutes... He ended up feeling screwed by Rolex That made me decide to order 2 more today... The IWC FAJones and the Vintage Explorer2 McQueen. I surely hope you are wrong about Andrew... I let you know if the watches have arrived....

I have a wonderfull Explorer2White from Andrew. Really impressive even with the right hand stack. There's just one thing.... the hour markers are stainless steel and not black like the genuine. Does anybody have a suggestion on how to change them/ paint them en drop hem with super luminova/ how to get the dial out etc.

I posted a reading subject in the Knowledge database on Stainless Steal with all specifications. In short 904 is three times as expensive as 316. It has better corrosion resistence. I have an overpriced Sub that has certainly been build of 440. The 316 (of which I have a few) have a yellowish shine while my 440 has a carbonish glow. They were all brushed the same way. I have not yet had the chance to hold a 904 next to the 316 and the 440.

By-Thor thanks... do I see correctly that the bezel print is also white and not silver like mine....
