I wish I had a great story but......I just like watches and I really Love this community. I also have been blessed to meet a few members.......but I wish I had the chance to meet a lot more. The creme really rises and the Best have been named: Omni, TwoTone, Stephane, Pugs, Zig, Ubi,Star,
Ken..........and on and on.
I started way back, TRC, The Old Rwg and here.
You never leave "The Family"
O.k.,
Part #2 the 3 pins go in the bezel holes. The thin washer goes under the assembly and the thin wire goes in the inside channel of the bezel.
Best practice is to put the thin washer on the case, place ring 2 in place above it. Take the bezel(Wire installed) and center it over the pins so the pins/holes line up, and press into place until the wire ring slides over the case lip locking the system into place.
Patience is the key.
Good luck,
Kurt.
Very Nice Lani....Early 70"s is my guess based on the bracelet.
I wish I had the money to buy the one I sold to Pugs :-(
Good to see great members with great watches....Enjoy your recovery and your weekend..
Kurt
Welcome and excellent choices. Chris is a great Guy to deal with. The waiting is the best part. As much as you will enjoy your watches, knowing there is one on the way makes everyday like Christmas Eve.
I love the 300 Ubi....I had a few and boy do they wear big. It makes a sub seem Midsize.
For me,
I will be sporting these 2:

Have a great weekend.
You know, the thing I like most about the MBW's is that it is an awesome watch as is. I have had no less than 10 MBW watches and everyone held it's own in an un-modded state. Of course, that didn't stop me but for the un-initiated, it really needs nothing to be an enjoyable wearable addition to your collection.
Think of it, if a manufacturer or even the cartel sold these with a sterile dial, I bet they would fetch good money and sell very well in the mainstream marketplace.
A solid well built timepiece. Enjoy it in good health>.
Wow! What a masterpiece. I didn't want it to end. I am awash with emotions. It was a pleasure to re-visit all you have done to make this a great place to be.
Bravo.......and Thank You.
I love my watchmaker.....
Anybody want this? I have a 1 owner 1986 145.022 Speedmaster Pro moonwatch in very nice shape with original box/papers. Serviced once in 12/04 and still running strong.
Nice patina on the original dial and hands.Original 1450/808 bracelet has all links.
Gauging interest with my family here before it goes to the TZ wolves.
please email me at stellarinteriors@comcast.net if you are interested.
Regards,
Kurt.
Not really. Remove crystal, heat the backside of the crystal under the cyclops(I use my cigar torch), get a new flat/sharp chisel, hold crystal on edge, place chisel against cyclops and hit sharply with your hand.
Not hard but it does take some dexterity.
Thanks Tee.
In low light, they look greyish, in natural light, they look silvery and in bright light, they look whiteish.......of course, being color blind they may be black, yellow and green.
Thanks for the offer Ubi......let me know what you want for it.
Shoot the details to me via PM.
Thanks,
Can't beat Gen.
BTW, Love the Explorer. I don't know why we don't see more of these. Maybe when size no longer matters.
