Freddy,
I removed the crystal on 2 Rep GMTIIC's. Do not monkey with the Bezel assembly. Just uncase the movemenmt, press the crystal out from the backside, and re-install with a press.
Not sure if the Gen will fit the rep. I didn't measure mine when it was out....sorry.
Well, perhaps it's because a comment like: I really like the composition and placement of the first pic" or, "That color dial is one of my favorites" makes no sense without a Pic. ref........or, I am just lazy:-)
My watchmaker has a customer with an old Tudor sub. The folded link bracelet has given up the ghost and he is looking for an affordable oyster bracelet replacement. Hollow mid-link MBW 93150 with end links would be great. I have a new in package Genuine sub insert for Vintage Subs I can trade. Or I can purchase bracelet outright.
Let me know what you have.
Thank you in advance,
Kurt.
Actually, the 702 crown has the threads starting at the opening to engage the tube threads closer to the bottom of the tube.
That is a correct configuration for the 703 crown. Perhaps the threading is stripped.
I don't know if this has been discussed but......

It looks like the crystal is just AR'd below the cyclops.....can this be done?
Winnah winnah chicken dinnah.
Congrats my friend. All the blessings for a happy life together.......she does know about your watch problems......right?
