Freddy, I removed the crystal on 2 Rep GMTIIC's. Do not monkey with the Bezel assembly. Just uncase the movemenmt, press the crystal out from the backside, and re-install with a press. Not sure if the Gen will fit the rep. I didn't measure mine when it was out....sorry.

My watchmaker has a customer with an old Tudor sub. The folded link bracelet has given up the ghost and he is looking for an affordable oyster bracelet replacement. Hollow mid-link MBW 93150 with end links would be great. I have a new in package Genuine sub insert for Vintage Subs I can trade. Or I can purchase bracelet outright. Let me know what you have. Actually, the 702 crown has the threads starting at the opening to engage the tube threads closer to the bottom of the tube. That is a correct configuration for the 703 crown. Perhaps the threading is stripped.
