  1. Cognac Wojtecki. I have a Tan one and a Chocolate one already, probably my favorite straps.
  2. Today: 111 w/Davidsen Crystal and Europelli Black Cordovan white stitch: Tomorrow & Sunday: 092 on a nicely patina'd Wojtecki tan strap:
  3. Ended up going with the 089 Blue Dial with Europelli black cordovan strap and blue stitching:
  4. For a shiny PAM, I think a slightly shiny leather like the cordovan leathers from Drew are the best match. The baseball is matte, and looks better on a brushed or Ti finish like on the 177 or Arktos.
  5. I'm in too. Is everyone going to bring several reps, or just wear a single one?
  6. We could pay the DC girls to model the watches for us & take pics..... Pints has good food. I'm a regular there, since I live 2 blocks away
  7. Or we could do Pints Pub, near the new art museum, good beer & good food. We could even get a table upstairs for a little more privacy.
  8. Little Ollies is good, so is the Cherry Cricket (for more downscale). Also, there's a new place called North that is pretty cool. Another place I've been meaning to check out is Ocean, specializing in seafood, on the same street. And it's right next to this really good coffe/pastry shop that serves Illy esspressos.
  9. Checked out some Gen PAM's this week, and the main thing I see as a big difference is the use of real sapphire crystal on the gens. In person it gives the dials a larger-than-life appearance and a real presence that the reps just don't match. So, I just placed an order of 3 crystals from Davidsen. Has anyone here replaced rep crystals with the Davidsen ones? If so, how hard was it, and do you have any before/after pics?
  10. Got the 111H on a Europelli Oxblood cordovan:
  11. Once again with the 092 on a brushed SS bracelet:
  12. Just got in the vintage pre-v distressed molina strap and I must say that it is the best fit with the Ti cased 177 I've tried yet. Awesome strap & highly recommend for anyone with a brushed SS or especially a Ti based PAM:
  13. PAM 092 on all brushed SS bracelet: Tomorrow will be my bling watch - the 088 blue dial on a polished SS bracelet. The pic doesn't capture it, but the dial has a metalic look to it that is very shiny when it catches the light (and very matte when it does not catch the light). Result is a very bling watch, but the pic doesn't quite capture it:
  14. I have the 113, and it's "OK", but it doesn't call out to me veyr often. I think a busier white dial like the 188 would be better. I also notice that the bracelet tends to look better on busy dial pams, I think the marina dials are a little out of place with bracelets.
  15. I love the watch too, I just bought one as well. I've got a Europelli black cordovan with blue stitch that will be perfect on it. The real question is - now that the rep factories have figured out how to do a blue dial like this, how long it will be till we see a new version of the 168 chrono with the proper color and textured dial. That will be something. Or how long we will see a version of the 087 with the proper dial color (case and bezel already exist). Or the 120, which would be super easy as well, all the necessary parts already exist, just gotta put them together. Anyway, I really like this watch, it gives me a fully polished luminor case, with skeleton hands, the GMT function, and the blue dial, a combo that I don't have on any of my other Panerais.
  16. FYI, I decided to sell this watch, check out the FS section. This is just for those that liked the effect but don't want to do the chemical bath.
  17. My new Pam 024 7750 from EL on Woj Tan strap:
  18. Switching to a 212 on a Toscana:
