  1. 024 on a gator. Should be a polished bezel, but I really like the brushed look much better. I think this watch is a great "study in circles":
  2. I don't think it's real AR. I had some of the older Panerai reps, and it wasn't really anti-reflective, more of just a blue tint.
  3. DON's are always of good quality, and look much better in person than in photos:
  4. including the watch, measured from the underside.
  5. Measured from the inside of the bracelet, it's about 7.5 inches, at least that's what I get.
  6. Esteban, it wears bigger than the PO for sure, but is clearly smaller than a PAM. Sorry can't do any photo's right now as the camera is on a trip with my wife to europe. Alextor, the font on the date is definitely not the same on the rep, a small flaw. What I love about the rep is how it captures the depth and dimensionality of the dial and bezel, which is what really attracted me to the gen Inge a while back. I was actually saving up to buy a gen, but now there is truly no need for me to do that anymore.
  7. Mine came in today as well, this watch is HOT. Amazing replica, the only real shortfall being the lack of AR on the crystal, which is why it looks "different" than the gen. Get the crystal coated with a heavy AR and it'll be almost impossible to tell them apart.
  8. 1. Flip the crown guard lever down. 2. Pull the crown out. 3. Set the time. 4. Push the crown back up against the case. 5. Wind 40 to 60 turns. 6. Flip the crown guard lever up and closed. Repeat steps 1, 5, and 6 in 2 days.
  9. Lack of true Sapphire crystals. The sapphire "makes" the watch luxury or not. Mineral glass looks cheap in comparison. A good strong AR coating is also very nice to have.
  10. Still waiting.... Hopefully it's gonna happen. "Mr. Naga, Naga.... Not gonna work here anymore". I like office space too
  11. Wojtecki tan is what you need, it starts out very nice, and ages beautifully. New: After a few months and a little buffing:
  12. I'm definitely going to be stuck at work. The big boss was late getting here & I've got to do a review with him since I'm up for a promotion. Wish me luck
  13. The Venice looks sweet. They look even better on the Rads than they do on the Luminors, IMO. Great scans.
  14. Damn, I'm gonna miss this. My boss' boss is in town and I'm gonna have to work late....
  15. Here's a 26x22 on my rad: And a 26x26 on the same watch:
  16. I just ordered my 3rd watch from Davidsen, a 111H with SL hands and dial, center pin fix, sapphire crystal, thick crown, thick guard, and swan neck movement. The 183 and 127 I got from him a few days ago are very impressive indeed, I'd feel comfortable walking into my local AD with them on. Having the color of the numbers on the dial match the color of the middle of the hands is also a big plus. With the SL 3, the numbers and hands look much closer to the real deal.
  17. I've been to the AD locally that sells Paerai's several times, and what you say is true, the crowns are thicker on the 111H and other Marina or Base H series watches. The other thing I notices is the use of real sapphire crystal on the gens, it really makes the watch "pop" much more. That's why Davidsen recently got several orders from me, the sapphire makes a huge difference in the overall "feel" of the watch.
