Oh my..... That is just beautiful!
  2. Great comparison. Thanks for sharing that! It's quite amazing the quality difference in the engravings!
  3. Not only is it working flawlessly, it has the BEST power reserve of any watch I have or have ever owned!
  4. That sucks. It's beautiful!
  5. Again amazing shots Frank! What are you shooting with? I really like the vintage tone you are applying to the photos
  6. What's the deal with the screwdriver set? Looks pretty cool. Watch looks great AmStaff! Love the Ted-Su strap
  7. Agreed. That is a beautiful watch. Also liked the IWC Portuguese Chrono Yacht Club as well as the Cartier Calibre de Cartier. However, I really, really dislike the direction Breitling has gone with the Superocean. That new one is just terrible.
  8. Stunning photos!! You have a very creative look to your photographs that I really like!
  9. Some amazing photos, but I especially like this one! Looks like an amazing trip!!
  10. Some great pics there! I am really impressed with the overall case finish. It looks quite good!!
  11. Brought back to life in true Offshore style! Its a beauty O/S! Congrats!!
  12. How could you get more descriptive than describing the difference between a Yugo and Porsche? The precision in the machinery is un-matched currently by today's rep standards. There is a crispness to the feel of the edges of the gen crown. When threading it down onto the tube, it inspires so much more confidence that you are not worried about possibly striping the threads on the tube or in the crown. It's not so much a look thing, as it is a feel. Up close, you can usually tell the differences in the rep or the gen, but from a distance, does it really matter? Probably not. However, when you go to unscrew that crown to set the date or time, that's when you will notice the difference. Try it out. When you get your watch, live with it for a while. Research the optional mods you can do to it. When you decide to upgrade the tube and crown (which you will eventually do), take special notice the first time you unscrew the crown.
  13. Let us know if you end up buying one Virgil. It would be great to get a forum member review of this little bad boy
  14. Wow that's impressive. I'm surprised for $40k there isn't a movement shot. I love the Rolex Insurance note appraising the value of the watch at $6,975.00 in 2006
  15. What's even better is Ken is allowed to curse, as am I being a platinum member (fucking A!). However, when Eton quoted KB's post above, it censored the quote! Love it!!
  16. Very cool!!! @ Prsist - the rep regulateur is awesome!!! Here's mine:

    Lens Test Drive

Did you add a CPU chip to the lens? Great shot!
  18. Got it. Thanks Ronin! I still can't believe how great your watch looks now!!
  19. Very sorry for your loss Marty. My condolences to you and your family
  20. Couldn't agree more. This will be the perfect "couch potato" laptop. Light, efficient, cool running
  21. Yup. They make a 13.3 and 11.6 now! And with a flash drive, it's silent
