  1. Very very cool Omni!! I like it! How did it do at the exhibition?
  2. Absolutely perfect build Vly! It's fantastic looking! You should be quite proud of your new addition! I'm looking forward to some more pics once your camera charges up
  3. Now you're talking! Definitely looking the part J! Keep up the great work! I'm sure in no time you will become our resident case manufacturer!
  4. Nice find Justin!! I need to get one of those myself as well as a nice broaching set!
  5. Wow Sander, that dial is absolutely stunning!!! Nicely done. That has to be my new favorite ROO!!
  6. Just realized that! Oops! I was looking at it thinking there was something wrong with it, but I couldn't put my finger on it. I was searching so much for a nice large pic, I didn't even pay attention to the subtle little things that were missing (like the Swiss - T<25)
  7. Looking like you are off to a good start. I agree with Cats. The coronet is out of position and needs to be shifted to line up with the 12 o'clock indice. Here's a good photo of a nice looking Red dial for comparision: EDIT: Pic removed......just because I'm a dumbass
  8. I don't believe it! They have finally arrived!!! @Henrik - you've got a PM my friend!
  9. I love the idea! As an engineer, we have been pushing for a wiki here at work to help others sort out trouble shooting issues. It's a superb resource!
  10. So you were the lucky buyer on that one!!! Congrats!! That was one heck of a deal and it's a beautiful 5512! I am super happy to hear that you will NOT be taking it to an RSC or attempting to make it look pretty Are you going to take a look at the inside? I would love to see how the movement is looking after all these years!
  11. Wow! The engraving looks awesome! Well done!
  12. A very nice, well rounded collection you've got there BT! Thanks for sharing and as usual, your photos are superb!!
  13. Thanks for the info aero, but I am also looking for specific information on the differences in thicknesses and stem positions from the ETA movements and the Rolex 1030/1035 movements. Just want to figure out what hurdles I will have to overcome if I buy an aftermarket case designed for the genuine GMT movements.
  14. With a Gen Case set, or a case set built to accept gen parts, what exactly will be the issue for the stem alignment? Is the 1030 thicker or thinner than the ETA movement? Is there any way to modify the case to accept the ETA movement? Or any way to modify the Cannon Pinion etc to work? If any of the "super" modders could chime in on this, I would really appreciate it!
  15. I've had several back and forth emails from Miriam asking me if I got my packages. When I said no, she apologized and said she would look into it. Then a few days later she asked me for my shipping address twice. Sent two replies and haven't heard from her since.
  16. Looking great J! Well done! I am really loving all these Tudor Chrono's that have been showing up lately!
  17. Well....you win some....you lose some I'm sure the perfect Doxa will come along some day! I will add one to my collection one of these days
  18. Nice find J! Yes, the tube does look like it might be an after market tube. The crown is definitely sitting off the case just a little too much.
  19. I knew I should have grabbed that one! What's interested though, is in the quote you mention something about the Sharkhunter and an orange dial. This one was not Orange, but it did say Sharkhunter. Hmmm.....
  20. I love the fact that it was you that bought this set!!! Congrats R!!! It will be an amazing watch!!! Good luck with the build! If I come across anything I will let you know!
  21. Why buy the gen??? This one is sooo close! It's a great rep! Awesome photo BT!
