  1. I was only referring to the bezel. Can't speak for the rest of the watch
  2. I know it's the same as the gen, but why do the bezel numbers go in the reverse direction to standard? ie: counter-clockwise? It looks really good though!
  3. Awesome find B! That looks really cool, and for $40.00 US a little hard to pass up!!
  4. I always love the "I inherited from uncle" stories. It sure looks legit, but when sellers say that, I just have to think...hmmmmm
  5. It's because, aside from Avatar, most 3D movies were never actually shot in 3D. It's all done in post and it's really, really obvious. I wear glasses, so I really hate 3D movies. The only movies I have seen in 3D where the goggles didn't kill my nose was in an IMAX theater which uses a totally different 3D lens technology. The worst one was at a theater where the goggles used a battery to power the polarization of the lenses. They were ridiculously heavy and both myself and my fiancee had to keep taking off the glasses to give our nose a break. Really sucked!! Now we try and find a theater that is playing the non-3D version of the movie.
  6. Looks amazing! Now all you need is a thinner crown/gen crown and it will be superb!!!
  7. Yeah, the original is pretty funny, but not bad for 1982. I was reading an interview with the guys from Daft Punk and they claimed it was Wendy Carlos' original TRON soundtrack that was a major influence for them getting into music together.
  8. I am!!! Booked my tickets for next week at IMAX. I love Daft Punk and the soundtrack is outstanding!
  9. The date mag looks really good! Might be a good base for a upcoming project
  10. Those squat thrusts are brutal!! Great workout but man it is rough! As for a brand, i highly recommend the Go Fit ones. The handles are nice and smooth and won't chew up your hands to badly.
  11. One is more than enough to begin with, but as I mentioned above, you probably shouldn't start with anything bigger than a 16lb kettle bell for now. When I was in really really great shape, I had started working out with a 32kg bell (70.4lbs) which is a beast! Most of my workouts were with a 24kg one, but when I started I was only using an 8kg bell and that one nearly killed me (and that was after a solid year of training with a trainer doing "regular" gym workouts). Trust me, the 16lb one will be just fine to start with.
  12. Check out www.watchdoddy.com They always have great deals on watches - especially the Seiko 5 for around $60.00
  13. If it's not calling to you (especially only after a couple of days) than I would say let it go. I am sure you will have no difficulty in finding a buyer for it.
  14. Seriously....you guys have got to stop posting pictures of this watch! It's making me want one really badly!!! (And I normally do NOT like the Radiomir)
  15. Great comparison. This is my favorite line from that article: That one made me laugh
  16. Wow! Now that's an AP I like (the black dial). Can't wait to see some member pics & reviews of this beauty! Thanks for sharing that edge
  17. That's awesome Pete! Our team will get right on that for you!!!
  18. Woo hoo!!! Have a great day sixx!!! Happy birthday!!!
  19. Not really sure why they were gone for so long, but if I had to guess I'd say that its because newb's drop them and its bad for the gym flooring Also, its a better workout so you'd spend less time at the gym? I honestly don't know, but I can definitely tell you they work and they work well
  20. One other thing.....I cannot stress this enough. Do not push it too much and do not try to do anything outside of the instructions. You can hurt yourself with these. There is a lot of swinging of the weight and you can throw out your back or pull a muscle if you misuse these weights.
  21. Kettlebell training has been around for a long, long time. It combines strength training, endurance, cardio all in some simple straight forward workouts. I worked out with a personal trainer at a gym for a solid year. At the end of that year, the gym that the trainer worked for wanted to cut the amount of money that they were paying the trainers, and also charge more for their customers (me). My trainer was fed up with their policies so he, and several other trainers abandoned ship. He offered to train me for a discounted rate and we started working out in a park with kettle bells. I can tell you I saw a significant improvement in only a couple of months. It was exponentially greater than any progress I made while working out with regular dumb bells and fitness equipment at the gym. Kettle bell training is, by far, the best workout I have ever done. My strength increased dramatically! F, if you are interested in trying it out, I highly recommend you check out Ketteworx DVD's. A big, big warning. This is not your average workout. Do not think that you need a big weight. I would not start with anything larger than a 16 lb kettle bell. You can always up the weight down the road, but I promise you this: the 16lb weight and the Kettleworx DVD Workout will definitely kick your a$$!!!
  22. What I want is a free shopping spree thru Concepta's parts drawer!! Man some of those gen dials are just
  23. Superb work! I love posts like this! I always appreciate your fine craftsmanship!
