The most simple explanation is that you are losing 0'2"6 a day, and the hands are in sync with each other.

In single quantities a swiss ETA movement is about $140 .. of course the factories buy in bulk so it's a lot less then that price. And yes .. a trusted dealer will sell you a real swiss movement. Why would they rip off one customer and lose all of our business??

You should provide links to the watches you are asking about so we can see where the problem is. More than likely you are looking at the same watch with 2 different movements inside.

Taken, hand-held, at sunset w/ iPhone 3GS ..I love how it captured the lume glow. The "grain" on the crystal is just sweat which I didn't wipe properly.

OK .. do you mean a vintage rolex or a newer model? Just to warn you, vintage rolex watches were meant to be working watches, not heavy fashion pieces .. so they ARE light and not very solid feeling. Just so you know. A big heavy Rolex would be a more modern GMT IIc or a SeaDweller Deepsea ... Also chunky is the Omega Planet Ocean 45.5mm size ... we call the replica the UPO.

Kontic: there are many ways to improve the feeling of a replica steel bracelet. First smooth off the rough edges with a woman's nail file (emery board), then wash the bracelet thoroughly with soap and water to get the machine grit and metal junk washed out. If you are sure you like the size and look of the DeepSea then send it to him with the extra insert and have him lume it and install the insert while it's there. You'll have one hell of a watch. If he re-lumes the insert pearl to match, ask him to replicate the clear pearl dome as well when he's finished.

yes exactly. This watch is a puzzle, as I mentioned. It has a noobfactory style case, a trevortime bezel insert and the best dial I have ever seen. This photo is of the best rep DSSD I have ever seen. All it needs is a slightly better pearl and a slightly more curved white triangle in the insert. if this watch had a modern noob bezel insert it would be awesome indeed.
