Look at the thread on RWI in my link. He has been selling the Noobfactory watches for these prices for over 1 year in that thread with many happy people. I have not bought from him, since I do not want a modern Rolex except for my DSSD .. which I already have.

The problem is that the current trend in watches is BIG BIG BIG ... so no one is buying the classic 36mm pieces ... so we can't post pics.

You can not easily replace an Asia 21j movement with a swiss clone or gen swiss movement. The dial attachments are in different locations and the hands' mounting holes are different sizes. So .. no. You can not drop in swiss when the A21j dies. You could drop in another a21j tho .. for $16 USD from the shops

I agree the videos were a huge help. I used to think that AP was a big hunk of crap but seeing them move around in the presenter's hand on the video made me appreciate their design.

That is rough. I understand that titanium is a real scratch magnet. Anyone with a DSSD could tell you that the case back looks like hell after only a couple months.

The movement in s basic Panerai rep is one of the most study, simple movements out there. The biggest problem you will face is the bias against replicas at a lot of watch shops. There are several trusted forum watch makers / watch smiths who can do this with no problem if you cant find someone locally. Expect a lot of funny looks when you tell them it's a rep.
